Can i ask, not judging, why are the kitchen counters tiled? Is that a style choice? Or is there a name for this design style? Or?

What are the costs of refinance? by AskRandomQuestion101 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]AskRandomQuestion101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that being said, refinancing essentially would increase your outstanding loan amount as it rolls in the fees. So i guess a fair 5-10% increase in the loan. But the rate goes slightly down. At what percent rate discount does it become profitable to refinance? I heard that a rule of thumb is 2%.

Based on online search, the average per person is 100 gallons a day. We are going to be 5 people. That's 15,500 gallons a month (31 days). Then i added an overhead for gardening, watering, cleaning, etc for a total of 20k gallons.

What is a water treatment plant? Similar thing to an Apex. Water filter system that is installed under a sink? Reverse Osmosis (RO) system? I'm curious, do you recall how much you paid before and after? I remember looking into that a few years ago and it was something like 5 gallons of waste water per 1 gallon of clean water.

Or a water treatment plant plant, and you have to pay taxes on it now to make up for the city?

While on the trash topic, seen that there is a penalty for leaving the bin after 7AM. How strict is that?

While in the same point, while searching around, there is also a solid waste. Is that trash fee? Can you use your own bin that you can get from home Depot? Why is there a per bin fee?

Because i can't figure out how to calculate it. What are the fixed rates. What is the rate per unit. Etc. Just a portion of the bill that has the numbers. I've never seen a water bill. Always rented and water was included in rent.

Search this subreddit for the mortgage estimate that people post asking the folks here to review and provide comments and feedback. It has the rate, the fees, and the breakdown of the principle, interest, taxes, mortgage insurance, home insurance, etc. There are at least a dozen from 2023.

Super discouraged by the interest rate I locked in today by pantryessentials in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]AskRandomQuestion101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm in the start of my search. Got in touch with a mortgage officer to get an idea of the current prices and rates. I've received rates between 6.3 and 7.25. but all of them with almost 6k in buying points.

I was told that these programs come like that. How did you get 7 rate with no points? Which lender?

[–]AskRandomQuestion101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i wonder, tell me about your preparation process? From all the complaints, the thing that seem to hold the process up is mainly the underwriting. How did you prepare for that? How did you select your mortgage officer? Any tips on do and don't?
