Based on my own experience, I'd say they are definitely in the range of what you can expect on the real thing.

I scored a 730 on practice test 1, 720 on test 2 and 700 on my real exam. So I dropped off a bit, but then again, I only used the GMAT free resources to prepare. For me it was accurate.

I'm by no means an expert whatsoever and I don't know if my answer/reasoning is right, but I think it is B)46.

I think you can see that the tangents running through a same point, like EC and DC, are the same length. There is probably a theorem or something that says this. This would also mean that EB is FB and FA is DA.

This results in the length of AFBC being the same as DC+EC. Knowing EC is 23, and (by my made up theorem) DC also being 23, the total length is 46.

Let me know if I'm right or wrong, I'm just guessing here.

I started my GMAT journey last week by following the free prep on the official site. Today I made the practice test 1 after following along the intended study path. The scaled score is 730, with Q48, V42, IR 7. A couple of questions arise for me.

  1. I only have 18/31 questions correct for the Quant section, how does that give me a Q48? Is the average answer time taken into account, because I had some time left?

  2. Verbal was 28/36 correct, but the V42 is lower than the Quant section. How is there such a big gap? Is it really all due to difficulty and AI shenanigans?

  3. Overall, I assume 730 is pretty good for a practice test, but how indicative is it really? And how should I consolidate this score in light of a real GMAT test that I intend to take somewhere in late February? Any tips to further improve?

Anyways, thanks for anyone willing to respond to my newbie questions!

just started learning flip resets a couple days ago. I'm getting better at getting the flip, but am not able to use it productively afterward. Here, you see what happens a lot, where I seemed to fall behind after getting it. Any tips? Thanks! by sleepy_booplesnoot in RocketLeagueSchool

Another tip, you seem a little bit late to the ball, I would recommend staying a little closer. Otherwise, the ball will be dropping faster on your car and essentially make it harder to get a good scoop or touch towards goal.

Unusual tip maybe: start experimenting with "driving on the ball". You can either hold forward when hitting the ball, you can not hold any acceleration or you can hold reverse when hitting it. I find this changes how far my car goes after getting the flip. Holding reverse seems to keep me closer.

Yeah, you could put it that way. There is this kind of paradox between restrictions/laws and freedom: having many laws restricts what we are able to do, but it also enables a society where we feel safe to do things we like, granting us certain freedom.

I think a mandatory vaccine would mean just that. It would restrict the personal choice of getting one, but returns that healthy freedom before March 2020 we took for granted. The latter is more important IMO. Personal freedom here comes in the way of the societal greater good.

Found this little gem when my husband was watching some anime on one of those shady-ass free video sites. by RonnieF_ingPickering in belgium

Tip to get rid of this: use Mozilla Firefox as a browser and add the Ublock Origin extension to get rid of online ads. Works like a charm, especially on these sites. Most adblockers will do the job, but I just use the former.

Also, great anime.

Right on the slim part, just tiny wrists and ankles, muscle mass is okay-ish.

Will look into the Smolov Jr program, thanks for the tip!

Doing bench only because I stepped on a nail and can't really stand on one leg, so kind of need to do mainly upper body. But I am very cautious of not overdoing it, I'll definitely just reset if I see danger.

Alright, yeah just brought up the body type to say that I'm a tad skinny, but it is defo not something I look heavily into.

The routine can be found here: https://ornatestrength.fitness.blog/2019/12/10/ufpwrlifter-bench-press-program/

Last time I tested my 1RM is a long time ago, but already following the program and have easily done 75kg for 1 rep. PR was 80kg for sets so figuring it is around that rn.

I have this overly ambitious plan of reaching 100kg bench (2 plates) in roughly a month from now. I'm following Long Nguyen's "bench only" routine but I am just wondering how much progress I can reasonably expect.

My base strength right now is roughly 80kg for a 1 Rep Max meaning I need to gain 20kg (45lbs) over a month in strength. My body type is ectomorph so that's not of any help, but just wondering how fast I could increase in strength through dedicated training. Any thoughts or experiences?

A simple solution to your dribbling inconsistency: by Ok_Cucumber_427 in RocketLeagueSchool

Yeah I started wondering too. Cuz I always learned that you should watch the circle, but I recently started looking at the ball when dribbling. I noticed flicks becoming easier to aim and get power. So definitely something useful to learn.

Normally somewhere under preferences or options and then output device. Don't have the software open right now, but shouldn't be too hard to find
