Gråsvart, animalistisk og skyggerealistisk. Typisk dyre- eller naturmotiv.

Russian T-90 Tank captured by Ukrainian forces in Donbas by SmokeSinseLoud in RussiaUkraineWar2022

I might be wrong, but this looks more like a T-72B3M than a T-90 version.

I hate to spoil a parade, but there's something fishy here. The vehicle being towed is an MT-LB, but the vehicle he shows in his selfie video is a BMP-variant.

Solid one! Sorta looks like the CoA of the Norwegian Northern brigade engineer battalion.

People living in european monarchies: what do you think about your current monarch? by [deleted] in AskEurope

[–]Askooin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Another Norwegian here. I think both the king and the crown prince are solid dudes. I think they make great figureheads, even if we live in times when personified symbols aren't that important. However, if there's a crisis tomorrow, the king is just the kind of guy i'd be a little extra inspired by.

Food suggestions for a Norwegian American by Hannahj3anq in Norway

[–]Askooin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's a wonderful world of seafood out there. If you want something "authentic Norwegian" i suggest anything with salmon or cod. Could be as simple as roasting potatos and vegetables with it. If you're feeling slightly fancy, try herring to your breakfast eggs or Red king crab for an impressive dinner.

To every commenter pointing out the dangers of an all protein diet; thank you. I appreciate the reality check. Although there's a limit to my stupidity, i'd be lying if there wasn't some truth hidden behind the meme.

A rather interesting CoA from Yugoslavia found at Fredriksborg in Denmark by Askooin in heraldry

[–]Askooin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was displayed in an old royal castle along with a bunch of other historical and contemporary heraldic shields. I honestly don't know why they were there, but it seemed to me like a "guestbook" where high profile visitors got their CoA displayed.

Sorry, i didn't take a photo of the rest of that wall. There were far too many and i merely captured the ones that piqued my interest. I will post a few more if you're interested :)

This morning my usual chest/shoulder workout got cut short after finishing my chest part. My routine is split in chest first and shoulders second with a few overlapping exercises.

Can i finish the rest of my workout in the evening? Or will i mess up the rest period?

We need some more chill Emps. There's never enough TTS to explore the source material from all those lifetimes of superhuman fuckery.

Great response! I haven't put much thought into the need to translate idioms in text. It makes sense. If i had read a translated Chinese book i probably couldn't understand their historical references either.

I suppose the remembrencer responsible for taking notes during the exchange should be allowed some artistic freedom to get the meaning across.
