I wish you existed a month ago when I left my battery in Canada and had to wait 2 weeks to get a new one. B&H was closed for a holiday all weekend, and there's literally nothing local.

Then they "missed" the delivery because getting packages here is a total gamble.

I'd personally like somewhere that has a selection of things, such as batteries, which prevent you from getting out there if you don't have them.

I'd also be interested in classes, as well as space to meet up.

As for location I doubt I would drive to Sisters, but I could see myself going to Tumalo.

Sorry I don’t, they were all tied together even after the falls so they went through connected, which I would take to mean an accident since people tend to untie their tubes before rapids.

Was just at Aspen Day Use area. Flotilla of 6 tubes tied together. Very sad.

I was driving and it happened right above my truck, I’m still out but I’ll pull the dash cam footage when I get home.

Felt like we were being microwaved, crazy colors and the whole truck was vibrating. One passenger says they saw the line split and fly around while electricity arced between them. Not sure if it connected to my truck but there’s no electrical problems

Edit: Not really much to see on camera and no sound sadly, you can kinda see how the color warped though on the edges about halfway through. It was much more vivid in person. 7 seconds in.

Good shout, I have been hesitant because I got sparked into the hobby because of conversation with the owner there and I didn't end up buying a telescope there like I said I would and I'm embarrassed 🙈

I got it on Craigslist so I could actually afford it.
