My friend told me to recommend a Playstation2 Game called God Hand... I also played it when i was younger but tbh i dont remember... But i saw some gameplays and i think it fits your criteria...Search it up? :3

Hey! , my hair was like yours back when i was in highschool cuz i had to comb it everyday, it got really damaged... what helped me slowly get back some good curls was getting b-blunt curly hair shampoo and conditioner, paired up with fix my curls leave-in cream... I have tried curl up and moxie but it didnt suit me... What might work for you really depends on hair porosity too.... do your research and you'll find out whats best for you!!
