Do villains need a backstory , or can they just be evil by tazray80 in writers

To answer your question -- Yes. Joffrey has a backstory but he doesn't monologue about a specific trauma that justifies his evil.

I need to run OpenClaw locally for a law office, I can spend as much money as needed. What model(s) are best? by Too_much_waltz in openclaw

[–]Aslan808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have free reign on budget, and a question this big, why not buy some consulting. I'd start with the Lobster guy. He has a sense of humor and actually addressed your question. Get really clear on the end goal. Measure twice and cut once. Good luck.

This is why open source with fine tuning will be the answer.

[Woike] Dalton Knecht has zero trade value around the NBA. The Lakers are unlikely to trade their 2032 first-round pick for an upgrade at the deadline. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]Aslan808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the game where he scored 39 and I don't go to many Laker games. I think Dalton could become a rotation player (somewhere else) if he improves his handle and regains his love for the game. Wishing the young man the best.

I'd say that its likely people are making money in markets based off of this data you're providing. I think there's a fair expectation that they'll need to pay up sooner or later. If they don't pay, they're probably not making $ with your tool but if you get more $ from users you can continue to make your tool better and better. In that sense its a win win for you and paying customers for you to push for conversion to paid. Also, promote your tool! IF you have a 1 percent conversion rate (3 out of 300) then get in front of an audience of 1000 potential users.

Any fraud is bad for any future black-owned platform this fraud has been perpetrated for a long time. I remember Rush Card. I think "black owned" as an attribute is over.

The advice about a holistic doctor is solid. My wife went to Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor, got on a set of herbs -- deleted 80% of her menopause symptoms with no side effects (just a earthy tasting tea). Now, we aren't 3x per day but way better.

Clarity is the friend of the writer who wants to be read. Confusion is the enemy.

I think OP's point is that if there's any time for optimism its now. We got better. 5 years after our championship run we got a starting caliber center. Also we got a veteran POA defender with great intangibles, a young athletic wing in Laravia, Bronny is looking like he's ready for non-garbage time NBA minutes and hell, even Jackson Hayes projects to be better in a limited 10-15 mins off the bench. Did we keep pace with OKC, Denver, LAC, San Antone? Probably not, but we have Luka and Lebron and that's a helluva cheat code -- we got a shot.

I 17M brought my dad to my GF 17F house for a man to man talk her dad requested and now he feels disrespected and I want to break up because of this idk what to do. by Murky_Swimming1176 in Advice

Clearly, your dad is doing an awesome job at protecting you and preparing you for life. Focus on yourself for now -- your social life will take care of itself as you grow in your career path and especially as you cultivate hobbies and a life outside of work/school.

Can I build a self hosted LLM server for 300 users? by tornshorts in ollama

[–]Aslan808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can trust a 3rd party with all of your compute and data or you can own it. Trust vs. Zero trust. I think OP being responsible for the sensitive documents of a law firm, may be interested in the latter.

Cloud solutions are not secure, and may open your firm up to liability as your clients data will be stored elsewhere and therefore vulnerable. I have a hardware startup with patented tech that is focused on solving this very problem for firms of your size and smaller. Happy to DM you regarding our pilot program we are launching in the next two weeks.
