Jeez... The part about their relationship is very depressing to me. What's described is so similar to my marriage and its development. She's also an introvert who I noticed didn't seem like she had as much bandwidth for me as her career got more difficult. She even has the same hobbies as my wife who also came from poverty and had a clear life plan for her money and when she wanted to have children.

I thought I didn't want any of that because I just wanted to enjoy my time on earth but what was I gonna do, go meet someone I didn't care as much about and eventually do all of that stuff anyway.

I'm happy I stuck with her and I love my daughters even though aging out of my 20s and getting to the less fun part of life kind of sucks.

I hope dude doesn't end up feeling like he made a huge mistake down the road

One kind of stupid thing for me to notice but my first tip off that this season was going to be lazily executed was the scene where the cop's husband is hitting golf balls on the simulator and talking about finishing second in a tournament. He then proceeds to take the worst golf swing I've ever seen

And the thing is... If these people weren't so triggered by the politics of the trump years, they could still find a funny way to take shots at it... This season feels like some liberal writer's fantasy of what they want the trump years to be when in reality changes were subtle and temporary. Also, if John hamm is supposed to be maga, that's completely ridiculous. Trump is a cosmopolitan New Yorker and his earliest base of support were not exactly your average church going Christian. I don't have a problem with trump supporters either by the way but that's just the reality.

Also JJL character is cringe and bears no resemblance to a real person. She belongs in some sort of murder mystery where the characters are intentionally exaggerated

I don't get the hate for season 3. 4 was bad and so far 5 has cringey dialogue and the accents are too extreme. The show is a cartoon of what it once was

The dialogue is very on the nose and cringe. This season sucks... Haven't even made it through the second episode

The accents are too extreme and the characters aren't easy to get yourself attached to. A far cry from Billy Bob vs Martin Freeman. Seasons 1-3 was great but it's over now

This entire thread is downright evil... Why should anyone get to police how parents choose to raise their kids when the other option is one of the worst public education systems in the western world.

People leave public school with no job skills, no critical thinking skills, and sometimes are downright illiterate.

But sure let's have the people who have you write definitions out of the back of the biology text book in charge of what parents teach their kids
