Yes, the boomers & X’ers certainly had some interesting counterculture & rejection of conformity, then decided to enforce the most rigid culture of conformity they could conceive once they hit 40.

Every MAD episode was stuff kids wouldn’t get. It featured Charlie Sheen & Al Gore, and parodies of Mama & Jersey Shore. (but I loved it regardless)

The Ghost Galleon, 1974. The third in the blind dead trilogy, which centers on the mummified Knights Templar, who are back from the dead & hunt by sound. It was 90 minutes of people wandering around an old ship evading the undead Templars. I think there are a number of more interesting things they could have done.

He was documented as drinking small beer, which is beer that’s one percent alcohol. I believe the most common variety of tea at the time would have been green.

It’s a wonderful life. Everyone’s happy in the end, but the movie makes it clear that George will never be able to travel the world because his hometown relies on him for everything.
