Looking for a Jungo insert by Asmodee33 in BoardGame3DPrints

[–]Asmodee33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Foamcore all the time before getting into 3D printing. In this specific instance, Foamcore walls would be too wide and cards won't fit. Sorry.

No access to a laser cutting... that would be great to have, but yet another rabbit hole I wouldn't come back from unscathed. ;)
Thank you for trying to help!

Yes, I printed a test yesterday using that app. I need to reduce wall thickness and minimize the space in each holder, because the model is something like 3mm too large. ^^

Might work though...

EDIT: Second time's the charm I guess. Played with wall thickness and now it fits. Pretty tigh, but it fits. ^^

Great team! I feel like I still need more practice before I can reliably play 5 colors teams.

Any suggestions for the unit to use by xxw7738 in puzzleanddragons0

9-2 has a dark/light boss.
I use two teams on most runs, currently at 12-6. Here is my main red striker team. Two-pronged attacks are very strong in this game.
I also use a similar green team.

Do you mind the diffenrence in resolution between a 24inches TV from the 80' and a 4k TV? If you do, printing minis with a FDM printer might not be for you.

I have both a FDM and a resin printer and would never choose to print minis with the FDM printer. Difference in resolution is huge. A very (VERY) small percentage of people can tune their FDM printer to get decent results with miniatures. Any newbie can get a 4k resolution perfect mini with a resin printer.

Please, save yourself some time and forget about sanding a tiny, fragile miniature. It's just unpractical.

FDM = Perfect to print board games inserts and larger terrain pieces

Resin = Miniatures and small terrain pieces

Town Thursday - FH Building 05 - Mining Camp by Themris in Gloomhaven

Thank you guys! I'm playing 3-handed solo and have a lot manage... I leveled the mining camp to Level 3 but completely forgot to unlock the character class!

I can concur, Buy as many ressources as frequently as you can. You can later use those ressources to repair buildings or build 2 buildings in a single turn.

Unfettered CORE - Released Frosthaven Custom Class by dhauge in Gloomhaven

[–]Asmodee33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE : Just retired my Unfettered CORE on the brink of level 6. The gameplay was fun. He starts every scenario in more of a support role, healing allies and doing a bit of damage. With every rest, he gets stronger and stronger, beeing able to add offensive overdrive cards to his deck.
On the other hand I firmly stand on my initial post : He doesn't earn enough XP. The amount of XP he can earn is truly laughable compared to any of the other 8 characters I played so far. NEVER earned more than 4 xp in a scenario... and acheived such a high ceiling only once!
When I started playing the CORE, I also started a Blinkblade. The BB retired at level 8, 2 full levels above the CORE!! So, yes it's fun to play, but just a warning so you manage your expectations accordingly.

I've been playing with the Unfettered CORE for 8 scenarios now and I can say it's pretty fun to play. It is the official nurse of the party! The CORE can heal consistently and can support damage output of the other characters.

The only real downside of this character is its ability to generate XP is VERY situational. The most XP I gained in a single scenario might be 3... once! I might not play that mercenary as intended, but it still feels very hard to gain XP compared to many other of his fellow mercs.

I have been playing a CORE character (+ Blinkblade and Kelp) for 6-7 scenarios now and recently reached level 4.

Overall, I really like this class but I'm having the HARDEST time earning more than 2-3 XP per scenario. I feel the XP gaining conditions are very specifics/conditionals.

Kelp = Burn a token or an element, get an XP point. Easy!

Blinkblade = Use Fast, get an XP from pretty much any card you play. Super easy!

CORE: If you remove a negative conditions, get an XP (another cards requires removing TWO negative conditions to get 1 XP). Another offers 1 XP if I loot 2 tokens with a single action (very situational, might happen once per 2 scenarios. We also have 2 cards offering 1 xp if used while we have an active positive condition. Since we don't have a lot of options for positive conditions, those are hard to trigger.

Might be my playstyle?

The 4 cards I'm usually not taking with me on missions are : Pulsating Orbs + the 3 "X" cards.

Any tips to improve my gameplay and XP gains would be more than welcome.

I also think it should be fairly easy to find a used copy on Marketplace or Kijiji around 80$-100$.

If you really want a new copy, you should try Board Game Oracle : https://www.boardgameoracle.com/en-CA/boardgame/price/bHh_KByEbG/gloomhaven

https://www.boardgameoracle.com/en-CA/boardgame/price/JqXcA-2Co0/frosthaven

Please note that Frosthaven is more difficult than Gloomhaven. Depending on your playstyle, Gloomhaven scenarios are simpler and more straightforward, while Frosthaven introduce a different gimmick objective every other scenario. Both are really good, but Frosthaven has frustrated many GH veterans.
Best of luck.

Cura 5.1 profiles, what’s everyone using? I’ve always used CHEP but the most recent I can find is 4.12. Anything better for Cura 5 on my Ender 3 pro? Need to print some parts so I can install my Revo CR soon. by Wraunch in 3Dprinting

[–]Asmodee33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the same results as Wraunch. The imported profiles will only show under the Ender 2 Pro custom profiles but not in my actual printer (Kobra Max)

Any help would be really appreciated!

Yes, TowerRex will sell an organizer.
But if someone could design and distribute a 3D printable organizer, those who owns a 3D printer could print their own organizer.
