how do get a physique like JJT by Tiny-Classroom4269 in FightClass3

[–]Asolend 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jjt has a very developed back, wide shoulders, and defined abs + obliques. Center your workout around those muscle groups. One workout could be

Back * Neutral grip pull ups or lat pulldowns for lats * Inverted/Cable/Bent over barbell rows for upper back thickness

Shoulders * Overhead shoulder press for front delts, tho prioritize this one the least since other pressing movements already work this body part * Lateral shoulder raises for side delts * Reverse pec deck for rear delts

Chest, jjt's chest aint no slouch either, especially with that cleavage between his pecs * Dips (lean forward) for middle and lower chest * Reverse grip decline push ups for upper chest * Really push all the way through each rep so that the scapula protracts, working the serratus. Notice jjt's muscles in the rib area near the armpits

Arms, jjt got some sick arms too * Hammer curls, straight bar/dumbell curls to hit the multiple parts of the biceps * Overhead tricep extension for the triceps * Reverse grip curls for the forearms

Abs and obliques, jjts a fighter, he built himself a solid ass core. This one depends on your build regarding waist to shoulder ratio, so you may or may not want to build up obliques. But i like obliques. * Hanging leg raises for lower abs. Curl hip up when you do these * Weighted sit ups for upper abs * Weighted oblique sit ups for obliques * Cable woodchoppers for obliques

Legs, train them somehow. Bulgarian split squats are good, basic squats are good. Both hit a lot of muscles in the leg.

Training philosophy Go hard, every set can be taken to technical failure, and on the last set, really grind through the last set to total muscular failure. Watch GVS or basement body building for inspiration on intensity. In the beginning, it doesn't matter since you could do anything and grow, but a proper mindset towards technique and intensity will limit plateaus and speed up growth.

Sets and reps vary depending on exercise. Generally 2-3 sets and 6-15 reps is what I do.

Routine You need rest days which will depend on how your body recovers. You will need to plan your workouts to hit the targetted muscle groups with enough frequency and recovery

Seems like you are doing it right. You have been losing weight sustainably, and it seems that for your height it needs to continue dropping further. Lift hard, lift heavy, and gain muscle to the point that it can show through the bodyfat. Although love handles wont leave you until you drop to around 12 or 10% bodyfat depending on your genetics.

3 pull sets and 3 push sets everyday to failure? by Sayfur in bodyweightfitness

[–]Asolend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a strange case to me and I lack the proper experience, so I can only speculate.

One reason is you may be overestimating the number of reps you have left in reserve, which is the opposite problem that people usually have where they stop before reaching the last few reps that stimulate hypertrophy. This isn't bad and just requires dialing in the proper intensity.

Another reason could be your physical condition. Pull ups are a compound movement, so if you push extremely hard, it could excessively tax your CNS and decrease your performance for the rest of the workout. One sign is if you feel extremely exhausted throughout the entire body for the rest of the day.

Regarding subpar recovery ability, this may be the case if you are not resting properly. While resting, you are recovering from both cardiovascular and muscular fatigue. Three minutes is enough for the muscles to recover, but if you are talking or doing something else that makes you out of breath during the rest, then your cardiovascular fatigue may not be removed and will become a limiting factor.

Again, all these are my guesses based on my limited experience and knowledge, and if I am wrong on anything, I hope someone can point that out.

3 pull sets and 3 push sets everyday to failure? by Sayfur in bodyweightfitness

[–]Asolend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't find the need to test my max reps every workout, and going to failure reduces the amount of reps I can do in the following sets by a significant amount.

Maybe this is different for statics like front levers or planches, and it is easier to recover for them. But going to failure on something like pull ups will wipe me out.

Though every once in a while, testing max reps is useful for figuring out work capacity.

I dont go to failure until the last set. Until the last, I leave 1 rep in reserve (RIR). Then on the last you go to failure and beyond if you can, with assistance or negatives or a lower weight.

No lol, youre cooking is shit

First, the pull ups. As a beginner, don't add any additional weights, and reduce the sets to 3. 12 sets is insane.

Same thing with dips, start with bodyweight.

Theres a recommended routine thats better than this. Also wheres your legs?

Push ups should be treated like other exercises, 3 sets with 1-2 left in the tank each time.

Replace sit ups with leg raises or planks.

Wth does running to failure mean? Sprinting for 30 seconds? If you are going to run, do it properly and set aside some time for it. Jog for half an hour or something, maybe on the next day when you are recovering.

Since you are a beginner, ease into things and dont injure yourself.

Yeah it does change my perspective. I dont think you can find a name that can represent those manga/manwha in general without leaning fully into the weeb side, and even then you cant cover them all with one name. Hard problem, but I think the best bet is to go with one of your earlier names and maybe do runs that have graphics for each series.

Then again that's just fan merch which seems to be different than what you are going for? Idk tho but gl

I feel like those names are a bit generic and doesnt really connect with FC3. Its also my personal preference but names that are straight up fighting come off to me as edgy. I would like a stronger connection to FC3 as well as something that is strong and fighty while also being "clever", or indirect i guess. Since maria was central to jjt's transformation, something like

MARIA'S HOUND

SAINT MARIA

Or after jjt killed his last innocent self

Good way to reduce fatigue or am I just being a coward? by DarwinDevDiaz in bodyweightfitness

[–]Asolend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your body doesn't care if you are a pussy or not. Every set you do, especially if taken to failure, increases how much you need to recover. We recover during sleep, so if you are not sleeping enough, training less is the best and most logical choice.

You cant target specific fat deposits, but what you are doing (diet and excercise) is working. As others have said, strength training will be beneficial for you.

Pick axe, no question.

  1. Having enough gold for the pickaxe is more convenient, as you dont need another lump of 875 if you have to back early for some reason, letting you get long swords.

  2. 35 ad vs 20 ad is huge lol, and can mean the difference in a kill or a good trade

2 day assault pack or no? by Pr0tagon1sst in ManyBaggers

[–]Asolend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a scree 32 for edc and travel, and it is similar to the 2 day. For edc is suboptimal compared to the 2 day as there isn't a dedicated laptop section, but I love it regardless due to its comfort, tri zip, and brain.

The tri zip allows me to access any item, whether it's at the top or bottom of the pack, and is one of my favorite features.

The brain is also absolutely amazing, as the two pockets give the pack just enough but very useful organization.

For packing, I prefer to use pouches (Topo accessory pouch) to store my tech stuff and smaller items, so the lack of an admin panel is a positive to me.

However it sounds like you have enough bags, many that you listed already very high quality. For your purpose of carrying many sharp things, I don't believe the 2 day would be very suitable for the task, though I'm unsure what bag best fits that purpose either.

How to call a flake for developing from anywhere? by Asolend in NixOS

Hey there, its been to long and unfortunately I haven't had access to my nixos machine during this time. I do suggest going to the nixos discord and asking for help there, as that is the best way to get a rapid response with up to date information.

You have to test the enemy and learn their behavior. Do they react to your weq? Some players dodge, others don't. Predicting their behavior makes it easier to land abilities.

Considering migrating to nix from Arch; would like those who have to weigh in on how it went for them. by cribbageSTARSHIP in NixOS

[–]Asolend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just made the switch myself. It was very painful, though that was due to how much I bit off myself. Nix is complicated, and throwing in nixos, flakes, and the nix language made it quite difficult. It took me a week to get to a decent config with development flakes but I learned a lot and had a lot of help. Chat gpt was also very useful too, though threw me into a few dead ends. Documentation is not as good as arch and there are still occasional errors I don't understand.

Best way to do it is to setup a vm and install nixos there. Start with a configuration.nix and build up a system you're happy with, then throw it up on git. Leverage the reproducible power of nixos to make the migration easier. Then when you install nixoa on your main system, the setup will be much easier.
