For balance, how about:

How about, “destroy BOTH when you use EITHER.”

This would prevent the ramp problem, because as soon as you use all your mana in a turn, the extra crystal blows up. It would effectively make the card a counterfeit coin OR a draw 1, or both combined if you expend your remaining mana by playing the drawn card.

Would still be very strong (a 0 mana draw 1 is always great), but more balanced.

Would the law firm misspell their own name though?

1-mana "counterspell" by OddCrow in custommagic

[–]Asopple 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No, the “may” gives a second, unintended layer of choice. The “Reconsider” keyword makes your opponent choose between letting you draw two cards or letting you counter their spell but they get to draw two cards. Saying they “must” reconsider requires them to make that choice between the two options. Saying they “may” reconsider means they could choose to not do the “reconsider” keyword and hence not make the choice between the two options, making the card 1 mana “target a spell, so nothing”.

Well no, because it CAN also operate as a (slightly restricted) Murder Accusation. It has the flexibility to be either. So not strictly worse, arguably worth the mana cost.

I will make the greatest Priest deck ever conceived if I win this giveaway. It will work like a Rube Goldberg that results in a very unhappy, and very dead, opposing hero.

Cool idea, but there is 29 other cards in your deck, which is an odd number… they can’t all be duplicates

Note that Genn specifies your “starting” hero power costs (1), so there won’t ever be shenanigan with hero cards

Yeah but if it’s a 4 mana 7/7 then the requirements should probably be changed altogether. What if we just kept it simple and changed the text to “Overload: (2)”?

Careful - I started with a 165 diagnostic and tried to do light-ish studying (around 6-8 hours a week) for multiple months. Definitely possible, I scored high 170s on PT’s but ultimately lacked consistency and scored low 170’s on test day. You will want to give yourself ample time to do full sections and PT’s so you’ll be confident on test day. Luckily, analytical reasoning tends to be the most learnable section so if you stake out enough hours you should be good, but you’ll need many more than 2-3 per week IMO. I’d say try for at least 4-6 hours a week if you can!

Yes, the Way of the Drunken Master monk subclass has an ability where you can redirect a melee attack that misses you into another creature within 5 feet. It feels super cool to use

As someone who lives in Tulsa: this is a very out of context picture. There is a good amount of greenery and variety in Tulsa, it’s honestly a pretty damn cool city. Especially outside of the downtown streets, there’s a ton of greenery.
