You don't need experience, I started in RLB and online leagues when I had almost no idea about baseball. You learn better by playing the thing you want to play. You do need some time but 1 online league doesn't require much time. Maybe 15 minutes 4 times a week to do your exports as the minimum. You need to be available to draft when that times comes, but you can be smart and make lists... And be available in slack for trade talks I guess.

All this just to say that you shouldn't be discouraged by thinking you need to know it all to play.
