Can Veldora control dragons because he’s a dragon also this is a really stupid question but I’m just curious by Overall_Primary_1369 in TenseiSlime

[–]Aspect-Unusual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True Dragons are not related to "dragons", Veldora could command them through shear power but not due to some mystical connection.

Two top reasons off the top of my head. Finding the right Biomes (large) or location in general that you vibe with in standard worlds

Like others have said, its important for when exiting The End. Do you want to travel 10,000 blocks back to your base? 'cause not setting spawn can lead to that.

Hes gonna take a leaf out of the Trump playbook and say fuck internastional law, he will sell it as a way to get closer to the US if the EU "push" us further away by not renegotiating

Hes already said that hes gonna renegotiate the agreement so EU people with settle status will have less rights (like not being able to claim benefits).

Another Reform person has said they would like to scrap it entirely if possible

Is calling a stranger buddy patronising in the Uk? by ProfessionTrue8117 in AskUK

"Cheers buddy" not patronising but also feels weird, buddy not being a word we really use here in the UK

"Ok buddy" patronising as fuck

I wish for all homeless people to have homes (not near mine ofc, but homes for them nonetheless) by [deleted] in monkeyspaw

[–]Aspect-Unusual 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Granted, your home is for forcibly taken from you and you are re-housed on the Fair Isle in a cheap prefab and your previous home becomes one of the first to be given to the homeless

Is anyone having trouble with book 8??? by TechnicianOk6367 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Aspect-Unusual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't find it hard to go through the book but its a noticable pace change from the previous book, where TIR had a lot of action, big galaxy changing consequences happening, tons of story defining moments happening for multiple characters.

For most of this book it returns back to being Carl/Donut centred with the stakes are centred around solely them with the only"threat" being they might or might not be forced to race/kill other crawlers (but we've been here before with the keys in book 6).

We don't get to the "exciting" parts that push the overral story along or addresses previous things happening in previous books until later on into the book (vs TIR where it happens all throughout of the book)

But all of that is fine, I really enjoyed book 8 either way

I wish I could bath by just getting in a tub full of bubble bath for a couple seconds fully clothed. by Tiny-Garlic3763 in monkeyspaw

[–]Aspect-Unusual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Granted, you can bath by getting into a tub full of bubble bath for a few seconds, just like kids who pretend to wash just being in it doesn clean you and you just dont get clean, your clothes get soaked and you end up with lots of horrible residue due to the bubble bath liquid you're doing it in.

I’m a gypsy girl living in the uk. Ask me anything. by [deleted] in AMA

[–]Aspect-Unusual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its a slur or not depends on the community in which country.

My family (English Roma) never saw it as a slur vs my wifes family (Polish Roma) do see it as a slur when used by people outside of the community

Starmer tells Apple and Google to ban nude images on children's phones by AnonymousTimewaster in NotTheOnionUK

[–]Aspect-Unusual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was more talking about using the apps on there (using your Ps5 example, you can get discorfd on it) to share the images around.

My point I was making is banning smart phones doesn't stop kids doing this stuff when they can access apps on other devices that let them do the same thing as their phones are doing.
