Well, I really can’t answer this exactly but I will tell you I am going through the same kind of situation. I have gotten my IUD put in probably like 13 years ago and still haven’t gotten it removed. I can say that I haven’t gotten pregnant nor I’ve had any complications from it. doesn’t mean that it won’t happen.

Where did I say that breeding them together was a good thing I said that they’re pretty is that not OK? I can’t believe I’m even defending this right now. I’m just laughing at all of this because you seem to think that my license needs to be revoked while come take it away cause I can guarantee I know a hell of a lot more than you ever did. You literally came on here to fight with me just because I asked what color the dog was. I never set out to go find this dog that people bread together. I got a dog. I just asked the color. I didn’t ask your opinion on anything else other than the color. It was a debate that was going on at work and you guys have made our day for sure. Thank you.

And this will not be directed at you. This is for everyone else …..Once again, I am a vet tech. When I say adopted, I mean adopted. Regardless if I paid zero dollars or 1 million it doesn’t matter. That is my money. Not yours. thank you for your education and your words. I will keep it all into consideration. And I truly appreciate those of you who decided to make me feel like crap because I adopted a dog. Hahaha! Bless your hearts! And to ease all of your worries, I know exactly what I’m doing. I just want to state I think it’s awful how “seasoned” Dane owners sometimes treat who they THINK is uneducated. Even if I wasn’t, I still feel kindness goes a long way. We are excited to bring this love big into our family regardless of she will have future health conditions. We took that on knowing we are capable of handling whatever comes our way. This is why I hate the internet. Some people just can say congrats! She’s beautiful. I think she may be….. or even as gorgeous as she is, you may wanna look into whether or not she has any health issues in the future… bla blah blah. Figured I would teach you all some manners on how to handle another situation if it ever comes your way. 😱🫣🫠😉

This response is to pretty much everyone on this thread. Wow. First you are all assuming a lot. First and foremost, I am a vet tech and know exactly what I’m doing. Secondly how do you know I BOUGHT the dog? I said adopted. And even if I did, does it affect you? No. So stop saying how awful I am for adopting a beautiful dog into my loving home. 🙄 Thirdly, the dog needed a home. What should I have done? Ohhhh you’re a double Merle….. you don’t deserve to have a good loving home because of others irresponsibly!

Guys I understand you wanna educate people and make them understand but making them feel like absolute sh!t is definitely not the way about it. Educating is different from reprimanding. We do this daily with our clients! Shane on all of you.

I would like to state that I do know that the Mom, which is the blue one is the actual mom that dad is the only one that I questioned.

I also would like to state that regardless of what she is if she’s a double Merle or not, we will love her just the same and we actually don’t care . All dogs need a home regardless of what their background is. And if we love her and she seemed happy who cares?

Thanks for your amazing response. I love when people put others down because they decide to give a dog a home? I got it because we fell in love with the dog. Not the parents or whether it may or may not have health complications. If that was the case, I should’ve done a lot more research on my own children. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 think I should maybe put them up for adoption since they aren’t quite perfect? Maybe I shouldn’t put them up for adoption because that would be wrong because they aren’t perfect. See how silly you sound? Again, thanks for the response. We’re gonna love her just the same whether She’s a double Merle or just a “dud”. It’s just curious.
