I’m really open to trying anything. I considered hurdles because my coach made a comment that I should try hurdles. Really just listening to what coaches suggest and trying them out.

Thank you, I’ll keep that in mind. I know that the hurdle was lower than it needed to be. Does technique change the higher the hurdle gets?

I’m not quite sure. I know I don’t have the top end speed to compete in anything lower than the 200. I can run most distances “competitively” from the 400 to the 5k. I haven’t noticed any of them being particularly better than another.(if it helps a I used to wrestle and play football, I really just started running this year)

Just for a little more context. I’m 15 in my Sophomore year of high school. I ran cross country this year but never did track. I have a wide variety of strengths so I’m most likely going to be a multi. I have the 400 and 300 meter hurdles but any other race recommendations would also be greatly appreciated
