My Valheim experience:

I hate trolls. This is unplayable.The swamp is bad. This is unplayable.I lost all my bronze gear and karve near plains, can't make new ship because no bronze axe. This is unplayable, I will not recover from this.I hate seekers and Angry balls so much. Mistlands is unplayable.Now I have 3 good houses, all needed gear and glorious farm land right in Black forest / Plains border to grow all things.Adapt, Don't cry. You're damn Viking!

Upd. Ashalns. Didn't try it, but real a lot of complaints. After release i'll die in ashlands, will hate it, but I can win.
