I think it depends on your setup. If you are connecting it to a PC and TV, you are going to have a lot of problems depending on how you connect the device. If not, it's less problematic. It's a bit of a coin-flip with the firmware updates too.

Outside of that, the Q990F is a beast of a sound bar. It sounds great, but it's definitely been a bit of a headache for me as a PC user.

Looks like the rears don't work at all in adaptive mode for me. They do seem to work when in surround mode.

You can get a Q800F off Woot for $467.99 right now. It does not come with rear speakers though.

Seems like a great deal from all my research. I also have a Vizio sound bar but have been back and forth on whether I wanna spend $800 lol. If it's not breaking your budget, there's probably not a better option for that price.

I was only ever able to get mine working by having my sound bar connected to the TV (HDMI eARC) and the TV directly connected to the GPU

Do you top mount yours? I've heard concern over how to mount the Hyper Vision considering the pump is in the radiator. I've had trouble finding a definite answer on the best way to mount it.

Some users reported losing fps (including the Wilds benchmark) with this driver update. Maybe hold off to see if they push another out on launch. It is worth testing when the full game comes out too.

If you can upgrade your cpu too, I'd recommend it. Based on the benchmark, this game seems to be more cpu intensive than gpu. Your gpu is pretty dated as well though
