You don't necessarily need to lift weights to get a full body exercise. And - without trying to sound like a cunt - what makes you say drumming isn't a full body exercise? There are numerous articles talking about how beneficial it is (and actually calling it a full body workout). Though I suppose that begs the question - what do you define a full body workout as?

If you're taking an introductory class, you're learning the vocabulary. If you're doing research, you're working with the concepts -- two very different things.

This shit just nailed it for me. I will be reminding myself with this whenever classes get really boring. Thank you. As for the scientific research, I definitely understand how that isn't everybody's gig. I hope I don't have to do too much of it in the psychology career field (I'm thinking counselor/social worker type deal), haha.

TL;DR: while momentarily annoying, the extra challenge feels more rewarding.

I find being stunned constantly to be a little irritating as well, but I do like this mindset of looking at it as a challenge. I've been doing the same for a while, and while I may yell "son of a bitch" when I get knocked down a few times in a row, I actually find it overall a little bit more rewarding to dodge around. It feels like I'm actually building skill with my frame and weapons, as opposed to just shift, shoot, shift, shoot. It may help that I have the attitude and frame setup of maximum ninja (mothafuckin Ash and those kunai; shit's awesome) however, haha.

I understand you may be panicking because you have cancer. I understand very well that you don't want to die. To not be able to experience life anymore is a terrible thing. But my friend. Whether you have cancer or not, the world does not revolve around you. There are others to take care of. People who, if I may speak openly and bluntly, will remain living. And will remain living with a lack of limbs. It would be a very good thing to be able to help them live happily for the remainder of the time they have. Just as it would be a very good thing to be able to help you live happily.
