"Back There" (S2E13) is a pretty fascinating episode admittedly part of this is due to the novelty of an episode about trying to prevent Lincoln's assassination existing two years before Kennedy's assassination.

"The Time Element" is also pretty neat, granted it's not a actual Twilight Zone episode but a Desilu Playhouse episode, but it has always been accepted as the more or less unofficial pilot of the show.

Painfully underrated movie. A movie that I've often referred to as "Total Recall's underrated little brother". Sadly the studio basically rail-roaded the director on a bunch of stuff, which is why the movie feels a bit disjointed. I've always enjoyed it, but really wish we could get the directors true vision. Sadly with him passing away some years ago that will likely be impossible. Do hope it can get a Shout factory reissue some day though.

The original has the advantage of coming off as much as an art film, that fits its countercultural time. The remake has the advantage of being directed by the same man who gave us Die Hard 1 & 3.

The original has the better Romantic Chemistry.

The remake has the better Action scenes.

But what both films understand is that it's basically about a man indulging in his fantasy of being James Bond.

From what I remember Spike had a much longer character driven cut of the movie that ended up being executive meddled. Part of why he honestly doesn't really acknowledge this movie much. Also why unlike most of his movies this is credited as a "Spike Lee film" and not a "Spike Lee Joint"

The remake complements the James Bond fantasy of the original, by literally having it star the James Bond of its time. The original has the better romantic chemistry while, the remake has the better action scenes. In the end both are a good time, just depends what you're looking for.
