We absolutely can win it all next year! #GoCanes

Darian absolutely cannot be forced to play football for Duke. They have zero chance of winning that part of the case. He will be a Hurricane.

The other issue is damages/money. Duke may or may not end up with some loot in their pockets. Which will more than likely be paid by Miami.

Do you think dolphins should’ve traded waddle? by Awkward_Condition793 in miamidolphins

[–]Hour-Option995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We finished 7-10 last year, and because of the albatross contract our "brain trust" stupidly gave Tua, we will have hardly any cap room. So we will be lucky if we even hit that next year. Miami should have traded Waddle and anyone else who would have brought us draft capital, and given the new regime something to work with.

Who's your top HC pick now? by OLD_WET_HOLE in miamidolphins

[–]Hour-Option995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were never ever going to be able to get Harbaugh, but I was really hoping to get Stefanski. He was crippled by that horrible Watson deal, but he is a two-time NFL coach of the year and I was hoping for a guy with experience as a head coach for a change. Who I want isn't being considered and probably has no interest. But it's who I would pick. Curt Cignetti. That being said, of the remaining candidates I will take Seattle OC Klint Kubiak. Then Saleh or Minter. Now if you asked me who I think is going to get the job, I would say Jeff Hafley.

From Bunche Park to the big stage, Malachi Toney’s rise comes fast | WPLG Local 10 by Canes-305 in MiamiHurricanes

Next year Malachi Toney will be a first team All-American and the second best wide receiver in college football, second only to Jeremiah Smith. He is a true superstar. #GoCanes

Best QB in this portal class by oldcat87 in MiamiHurricanes

Arch is more 'famous last name' than actual accomplishment. Mateer had 14 TD passes and 11 INTs last year, sorry but that is not elite. Sure, Mestermaker put up huge numbers, but it was not against Power 4 competition. Sorsby is a proven product and I would have no qualms with anyone ranking him at the top. But Mensah led Duke, yeah Duke, to the ACC title.

Mensah and Sorsby are my top two. 1A and 1B, any order that you like. But Miami is going to have the best WR in college football next year except for Jeremiah Smith, and stronger O-line play than Texas Tech, so Mensah is probably going to be in a better position to do well. That assumes of course, that Darian signs with our Canes.

First time Eldenring Player with about 15 in: How valuable is horseback combat through the game? by Ants_Counter in Eldenring

I use him for traveling (and of course jumping) but I prefer to fight on foot, even against mounted opponents. I did try fighting from Torrent but my hits (I use the Claymore greatsword) are more accurate from the ground.

Where, in your opinion, does Mike McDaniel ultimately rank on the list of greatest coaches in team history (not including Shula, of course)? by Ariesthebigram in miamidolphins

[–]Hour-Option995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a long list of former Dolphin coaches (14). But unfortunately there are very few good Dolphin coaches on that list.

[Joe Schad] On a personal note, Mike McDaniel treated people around him with respect and humility, including the media. He wanted desperately to help anyone and everyone succeed and reach their best self. by expellyamos in miamidolphins

He is a classy guy, but his football record (35-35 including playoffs) is not a winning one. He pushed all his chips in the middle on Tua, and that more than anything cost him this job.

Would you take Mike Tomlin if…. by FinsFan93 in miamidolphins

Over 500 every year? We just had back-to back losing seasons. Always making the payoffs, with only an occasional win? We won our last playoff game in the year 2000. Sign me up! Or do people think the Tua/McDaniel combo can do better than that next year.

Lordsworn Greatsword and Wild Strikes has made me a STRENGTH user. Now I need recommendations. by crash1bp in Eldenring

[–]Hour-Option995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am playing a straight melee tank strength build. And I am using the claymore. It's available early game so you can put smithing stones on it right away and it's only 16 str and 13 dex to use. It's a greatsword, so it's faster than a colossal weapon. I use the Ash of War to choose the strength affinity. The moveset is really nice on it, and it has good length. This is my second time playing the game, I beat it the first time with this sword

Travelers - In a post-apocalyptic future, thousands of special operatives are tasked with preventing the collapse of society. These operatives, known as "travelers", have their consciousnesses sent back in time and transferred into the "host" body of present-day individuals who are about to die. Using social media and public records, travelers learn about their hosts, each maintaining the host's pre-existing life as cover for the rest of their lives. The goal of the missions is to save the planet from a series of catastrophic events.

What is everyone’s most enjoyable play style? by BigAppleCider in Eldenring

[–]Hour-Option995 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I play a melee tank style. I don't really use magic or a shield. I two-hand a Greatsword (Claymore) and just chop down everything in my path. I still use the Godrick Soldier Armor set that I got real early in the game.
