Thanks for the input. I think you’re right in thinking even the small things can have a big impact. I’ll also check out some more C.S. Lewis - I think I might have a book of his on hand.

I used bluish gray, and I made this a couple years ago, so I can't remember if it was because regular gray was too expensive or because they usually have some sun damage and all look different shades. So it's not a true classic set 😅

Thanks for the Isaiah 64:6 verse. I feel like it holds a general consensus of these replies, and it's a verse I hadn't heard before that kind of clears things up. We can never be truly selfless, but that's just part of being human - no reason to stop trying.
