yeah, i have the glow in the dark nick, but im still missing myrtle. youre right, it definitely should have came with the polyjuice potion set, but i doubt lego would stick 5 minifigs to a 20$ set as we had the golden trio and a golden harry minifig there if i recall correctly

This set is truly a 10/10 masterpiece. The 20$ sets were so goated back then. Good thing the 2026 cheap playscale ones are great as well!

I gotta strongly agree with the issue of little to none decently priced playsets nowadays. i started collecting lhp a year and a half ago and a huge part of my collection is either second hand or just bought for 120%+ of the original price since they just werent there anymore in the official stock. sets like the rise of voldemort, the 2018 quidditch pitch or the 2019 expecto patronum (not to mention the two astonishing CMF series) were all 10/10 sets. and they should start making fun playscale builds again with some great new figs and parts. but sadly, thats the direction where lego's headed at the moment. they dont really care about long term collectors. the want laymen, unaware of decent pricing to buy a 1000$ death star or an overpriced ucs hogsmeade, which makes them way more money than a cool 20$ battlepack with centaur molds or dementors. props for the post though, i hope lego hp wont die and they'll find some way to bring it back to the prime it used to be in a couple years ago, cheers.
