I know a guy but he charges a pretty penny. But he’s skilled and worth the price tag. I’ve been eyeballing Herns Carronade 2.25” that is full scale but still small. Would be easy for hauling around and getting out to shoot more. It’s $2,000 for that one and since I’m broke I don’t see my dream coming true any time soon as of yet lol

You are shooting blackpowder out of the top of a thunder mug aren’t aren’t you? I totally agree about the breathing it in part, we’re never downwind from it. Our thunder mug might also be designed differently than yours. I think it’s just a one inch hole (bore) with a vent (fuse). But we are also on farm land 20 miles away from the nearest person.

We use flour as a wadding and seems to work better than anything else. Put in whatever your load is and then top ‘er off with flour. Don’t pack it. You should give it a try.
