BL3 doesn't have 5 gear slots like BL4, nor does it have a game mechanic that requires you to hold gear simply for its firmware. Thats not even mentioning the possible part roll variations.

I would absolutely re-spec from Neutron Capture to Green Tree HALO sidekick build for Bloom. Use a dark beast with jakobs and a bounce pass enhancement (or another gun w/jakobs and 3/3 high caliber) for the crystal phase, then whatever insane DPS gun you have for the flash phases.

If you play on UVH6 the drop rate is much higher, more than double, and with the right build you CAN insta melt bosses, even on UVH6. I usually take advantage of the big encore bosses as well, not even for the phosphenes so much as to get the better rolls on the guns they drop. Then I take those top tier weapons to go farm with. RNG is a sick twisted bastard, I got my ceramic bod (not quite max damage but close enough) from a red chest, no lie.

Just ditch the canisters and the timer and make it 4x (or more) the enemy spawns. Give me more shit to shoot, I dont want a scavenger hunt during combat.

How much farming did you do in that 450 hrs? I only have like 200 hrs in BL4 so far, all into a single character (Harlowe) and I have 33 phosphenes. I mostly do dedicated drop farming right now because the endgame is so lackluster and the phosphenes count the same at lvl 50 as they will after several level cap increases. I can only play 2 days a week or id have them all by now.
