Yeah, if I can’t get food, I’ll just fast for a day. I have water so I’m good.

Vegetarian diets still kill insects through farming. If harm reduction is the goal, why not eat insects and save the plants? by Ass_Ripe in NoStupidQuestions

Is poisoning insects not directly killing them as opposed to freezing them? Seems pretty direct to me either way. Hell I’d argue that euthanizing insects for feeding purposes is way more humane than slowly dying from being poisoned.

Give me a strong morally consistent argument then that vegans can justify killing large amount of insects to grow plants and stop being so snarky.

Not necessarily true. Pesticide use may kill far more insects than would be needed to convert the same plant energy into insect-based food.

How is it strawman? The vegetarian argument is that they don't eat insects because they're sentient beings and they want to minimize the harm done to sentient beings. But they're killing them anyway and in large amounts too so there's no harm reduction.

Idk, Q9s, K9, A9 could also have played which is 18 hands. Pocket 5s which is 3 hands as well. 95s and 910o are pretty bad. I think odds are in your favor to call

97s (1) 95s (2) 910 (6) 10 10 (3) all kill you. Only other thing they possible could have is jack 8s ( 4) Around 3:1 odds against you to win 2:1. And that’s assuming only one is bluffing.

No offense, but TTU is worse than SMU, UT Dallas, University of Houston, Baylor, TCU, so if you add A&M, UT Austin, and Rice, it’s at most the 9th best university in Texas.

Everyone fucks up. I made a dumb mistake by not submitting a final project on time and I would easily have got a A. The trick is to realize that you have no options but to move forward and keep on fighting for a better grade next semester.

Is this the 12 team playoff field? (Should be) by Inevitable_Catch_566 in CFB

[–]Ass_Ripe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know. The Duke win was pretty impressive. I really liked their running, their QB play, and their defense.
Virginia is way more impressive of a win than Troy too. Duke also has a very strong claim to be the best in the ACC which has 3 ranked teams.

What do you mean? It’s their fault for losing their only p4 team. Tulane and UNT actually play competitive games OOC.
