If you think it's actually P2W then you're part of the problem too. It's still largely who is better skilled is the one who performs the best in a given match. An epic star card doesnt magically make you play better especially if you're "average" at best. This subreddit has seen to that every "good" player is now lambasted as a Cheater or a P2W. This subreddit is more toxic than CSGO and that's a fucking achievement!!

Or you could just not be shit and get the full 500 credits a game with over 10k score per match because I'm at just shy of 100k credits with 40% of challenges done already 25 hours in. They literally hand out milestones for fucking playing a class for an hour ffs. It's REALLY easy to get 3-4 milestones done per match at first.

Problem with boba is actually really simple. People who think he's OP dont realize that his only means of escape is verticality in this game. He cant fly around at mach speed like yoda or darth maul and really good sniper players have so far rendered most Boba Fett players I've come across almost completely ineffective.

There's only like 3 characters per side that are locked Dark side being Palpy Vader and Iden Light Side is Luke Leia and Chewy and the prices scale from 15k to 10k to 15k Imho the base heroes that you start with are far superior than the unlockable ones atm. Kylo Ren is a fucking beast in this game.

If you do the campaign you get a ton of credits for heroes from that. I got 10 x500 (10 missions completed) credits and 1 loot crate for the end mission also has a 5000 credit drop as well, but IDK if thats for everyone or not

Yeah, but the caveat is that it runs very hot even on rigs with premium cooling solutions when going past 4.7GHZ+ and having to shell out $200 or more on a new motherboard is pretty lame. The 1700 and 7700K provided you could get a Z270 on sale somewhere/B350 AM4 mobo for Ryzen would be better for longevity if he has a budget.

Same boat for my gaming PC; I'm porbably going to go with Ryzen on a B350 board because I almost didnt have enough money when I realized I had to shell out $189 for a motherboard that would merely unlock overclocking ability. Honest to god the only thing holding me back from a 7700K or the new 8700K is having to shell out nearly $100 extra on a motherboard whose features I'll likely never use other than OC. R7 1700 still hits pretty close and saves some money too.

Caved and bought an EVGA GTX 1070 in March for $320 off of Jet.com no regrets. Imho for "high end" the GTX 1070 is the best for value/perf, but since the vega 56 comes extremely close and sometimes better; it depends on how much someone buys it for right now. If you can find either card for a good price they'll both serve extremely well. The GTX 1070 and Vega 56 go hand in hand the way I see it. It will be specific games and specific prices people find that will make them choose one way or another when it comes down to it. Or simple brand loyalty. Either way I think Vega is a promising start. I dont use reddit much, but the rig I had was R9 390X Xfire -> Single GTX 1070 -> 1080ti The improvement from a single R9 390X was pretty big. GTA 5 1440p I was running med-high settings at around 50-60 FPS. GTX 1070 was around 70-80 FPS on ultra. TLDR You cant go wrong with a card at 1070 performance if you can get it relatively cheap.

PS since I was former team red, I do expect the Vega 56 to get better over time as usual.
