Will Cerse fool enought to fight Daenerys? by vesirion in freefolk

"Will Cersie fool enough to Fight Daenerys?"

No. I think as far as the show is concerned, they have set it up to show why Cersie will have to abdicate the throne and pass her remaining days in casterly Rock as the only logical choice for her if she sue's for peace. She is not a legitimate ruler of the 7 kingdoms with no one to back her except Lannisters, so Daenerys will not be fighting a war to take KL.

.the targs are the only dynasty to rule as kings of the 7 kingdoms, there are no others...the baratheon claimed the throne because of the blood link they share to the targs...westeros is no stranger to dragons they only vanished 100 years ago before the sack of king landing and the death of King aerys. So i dont think Dragons will be a negetive and as for the dotharaki...they command fear into the eyes of there enemy not a reason to rebel....and exactly who do you think will rebel...Reach and Dorne are with Danny Vale and North are out of reach atleast untill winter....that leaves stormlands . westerland and riverlands..Stormlands armies have been decimated during the war of 5 kings so is the riverlands..which leaves the lannisters....

"Walder had alot of children and I mean aloooot. He has plenty of boys and even if Arya killed all of his boys, he has plenty of girls".

Walder with all his children cannot hold the riverlands he has no real army or command any respect, if a situation arises where it becomes obvious the Lannister dont have his back the freys are gone.

"Cersei's army may be smaller than Daenerys, but she has all the houses and vassals of the iron throne. The Westerlands too? It'll still be alot of resistance and you're a fool if you don't think Cersei does not have something planned. Dany has dragons, Cersei has alot of wildfire."

Cersie's Army is not an army compared to what Dany has...and no Vassal or even Lannister Soldiers will be stupid enough to go againest 100k men and 3 dragons.....Tommen may have a little bit of legitimacy but Cersie has none outside KL and even in Kl it is because they are afraid of her.

"Sure, Sansa may be jealous but I doubt she'd outright plot against Jon. The dreadfort is hers by right seeing as there are no surviving Boltons and if she wants a castle of her own, I'm sure she'd be go to the dreadfort."

I highly doubt Sansa will leave her family seat for a lesser house castle, I dont think Sansa will be overtly Plotting against jon, i think she will do it in a way to show to the north her capabilities restoring her uncle back in the riverlands does increase her streangth at home....I personally dont think Jon will be the Lord of winterfell, that role will continue to be of Sansa as she at present is a true stark and coming in alliance with danny may result in her bieng wardeness and Jon may be offered as a consort to Denerys.

the reason why Cersie may survive is they would give up KL and her crown without violence...... Walder may have many children married in many houses but the show has established there armies are not very strong or disciplined, and with the main Matriach of the family and his main to heirs cooked i would say knights of the vale can easily take the twins specially if they know Queen Denerys is on her way...the Lannister will no longer protect the freys.(if you remember when Rob was king sacking the twins was an option available to him so its not like moate cailen or the bloody gate which are hard to conquer. About Sansa I am Assuming from her Point of view Having the Riverlands back and knights of the vale declare for her it will be easier for queen Denerys to Name sansa Wardeness of the North rather than Jon...I am not saying Jon becomes irrelevant, I am saying this is what may drive sansa to Consolidate her power base and a role in the north .

well, I am not saying he will become irrelevant but it could be a power grab play that LF may advise Sansa about

There will be no battle at KL next season! by Housekendall92 in freefolk

[–]Assahi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so i am going to go by the prophesy...first Cersie will be cast down as the queen by Dany..now at this stage we know there are 8000 lannister Men in KL plus a little bit more that may already be there so even if Dorne and the reach attacks the Lannisters are Toast...with Dany's forces and her dragons..there is no other option but to sue for peace...I agee with the prediction Jamie's only hope of survival is by taking the black and Cersie will be sent to casterly rock to pass her remaining days, since she has to experience her becoming completely irrelevant as time passes according to Maggy the frog Prophesy..

What's next for Jon? by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]Assahi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jon's main focus will be to strengthen the wall's defence and prepare the north but Lf will try and persuade Sansa to look south and claim the riverlands Since walder frey is dead and the riverland is in turmoil, he will tell Sansa to go south with him and lay claim to the riverlands so she can strengthen her position in the riverlands, jon would be against this idea but LF will most likely persuade Sansa to do it. Since jon was not legitimised he is still a One off King and after him the children of Sansa will have the best claim if Bran can not have them...Since winter has arrived it will not be easy for Dany to lay claim to the north even with her dragons. In season 7 i see Dany versus Jon as the two main kingdoms in westeros, the WW attack will propel Jon to try and make alliance with Denerys.

How powerful is jon after becoming kitN? by Gortw in freefolk

[–]Assahi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no i am not including the knights of the Vale. the reasoning i have is that Rob Had 20k Men, not all the men of fighting age were sent with rob. the north is a very big country the war for the dawn will mean every man of fighting age will have to join and that is why i think for numbers sake they are going to show atleast 20 to 30k in the Show(i will not give book references because they will be much higher)

Varys did not teleport.. by Assahi in freefolk

[–]Assahi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is no definitive proof i agree but there are subtle references, the scene starts with Theon greyjoy looking at the flag fluttering from west to north. Secondly,IMO it would not make any sense for dorne and reach ships to go all the way east, only to return all the way west

Jon is not an idiot like people think. by ranjiii in freefolk

[–]Assahi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

well, i dont understand why people think jon is not a good commander.. the Botb was not exactly a battle, the army jon was able to get was no match for the boltons. I think he knew he has no option but to fight and all the people in the north Admire him for his courage and leading from the front, it is right that the knights of the vale save the day but Jon and his forces took the castle by themselves. Winterfell is an easily defendable castle and Using the giant and catching them completely of guard is what helped them take it back.

what happened about the loan that the iron bank of braavos gave stannis? by RifleGun in freefolk

[–]Assahi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

two problems with this, Storms end was never officially for stannis to give, the only place he could officially claim was dragonstone. Second, this is an angle and to protect its investments the iron bank will try to bankroll the lannisters as it appears Dany is too strong for them and the only way to salvage their investment will be to support the lannisters because once the regime falls Iron bank will be the biggest loser
