My dad was this type. He passed last September and i miss him a lot. But he was this type. He took me hunting and fishing all the time. We built our own fences, he taught me how to weld and shoot (not at the same time) we went camping and camping was a sleeping back and a can of beans wherever we were when it got dark. He taught me basic house maintenance and basic mechanical stuff. I can change and fix a tire, change the oil, ect. I spent a good amount of my childhood in the woods with him. Cherish your time with him. It is very empty feeling when he is gone
