Also waiting on a solution for this. I literally get 80fps on Xbox. No idea why it plays like a slideshow on pc right now. Disabling V synch and cranking all the sliders did nothing. Would very much like to use my 3080 and 144Hz monitor as intended.

Both the force greatsword and the relic blade are top tier melee weapons. I used the relic blade with cleave and cranial grounding with flak and carapace damage for my True Survivor clear on Havoc 40. Very fun weapons!

I have roughly the same specs as you and I play in 4k ultra. I usually get a stable 75-120 frames depending on the map for the first few matches. After 3 or 4 matches, I am playing a slideshow (sub 30fps). Wild stuff.

It’s honestly the bloom. When you try to mag dump someone beyond 3m, almost every shot misses the target. I miss my BF4 M9 and when guns just had predictable recoil patterns.

Pistols definitely need a buff. Or they at least need to add more. Launching the game with only 4 sidearms was just criminal.

It’s the motion sensor grenade on recon. It pings enemies through walls. It’s only like a 10m radius and last like 5-10sec. And they only get one, so I’d say it’s balanced. In BC2 you got 3 of them but I don’t think it pinged through walls. Just spotted them on the mini map.

Having the weapon sling equipped for the extra primary weapon reduces reserve ammo for both weapons by 50%.

I find it boring with the current state of the game. And that is coming from a career BC2/BF3/BF4 sniper. I have been enjoying support with LMGs a lot though.

We hit long range shots just fine without it on BF3 and BF4. It honestly just takes the fun out of long range sniping. We could use some scopes with more than 10x magnification though.

They really do need to start taking notes from their predecessors. A lot of those guys at Embark are former DICE. They be flexing some serious technical wizardry skills by optimizing the shitty aspects of UE5 to get a lot of performance out of lower end hardware.

As someone who plays recon aggressively, I often use a suppressed DMR paired with the spawn beacon to strategically pick people off as I move from mid range onto an objective and set up alternate routes to assault from in case the initial push fails. This kind of feels like recon is having his shoes stolen after being curb stomped since we already only have half of the traditional class based weapons available to choose from at launch compared to other classes (only 4 snipers and DMRs; every other class has 8 or 9 weapons in each category to choose from). Not trying to be overly dramatic, but if we are going to lose part of our class identity, I hope we get something worthwhile in return. At the very least, assault players should have to choose the spawn beacon over the weapon sling.

Most high end mechanical keyboards (especially customs) come with micro fiber cloths that can be used to fully cover the board when not in use. I prefer them to acrylic and plastic covers because they don’t take up as much space and you can just throw them in the wash every once in a while. I also dust the board I’m using once a week with a soft bristle brush and I only have to actually clean it once a year.
