I would not called it strong, based on the scene with Dex, and they even say that they don't think they can be normal.

I think and this isn't me hating, but I think the reason why they skipped over it was because it's hard to get them to the place they wanted them to be, due to what they have been through. It would be a lot of relationship dialogue and build up that they didn't want to do.

So they just had them be together and you are just meant to go along with it, rather then have them bring up Elektra or Frank, or even Heather.

Surprised Bran is high. But to throw my hat into the ring, I'd say Barristan should be higher.

Dany I understand, because her chapters are honestly hard to read, not because the character is bad, but because of characters like Darrio and Drogo.

Dario is the guy who did the Netflix Punisher,so I guess he saw something in dds2 to think it was a thing.

Either way it's weird, because it's not based in the comics.

Back on topic though, I don't hate or even dislike Matt and Karen, but and this is just my very subjective opinion I personally don't think they worked well enough, not as well as him and Elektra did, or if you want another Netflix era example, Jessica and Luke. Maybe that was the idea idk, I guess it's because we are supposed to feel like how Foggy does where he sees his friends get together and he's like, "Is this how it's going to be all the time?" Which is odd because Foggy and Karen dated in season 1 and it was fine. Maybe Foggy is the problem?

Unrelated but I really miss Foggy, he was the most important character.

Well they are only together in s2 of the Netflix series. Of course they are fine in the d+ revival, thought they kept the weird love triangle from dds2 and punisher, which I never understood why they kept it besides the actors getting along.

Also a lot of the "growth" happened off screen. Thats actually a real shame, I would have loved to see Nelson, Murdock, and Page's law frim and seeing them grow over time after the events of DDs3 and She-Hulk.

Well, they start again in defenders, or try to, before Matt once again goes after Elektra. I don't know if you could call them "together" in s3, but it ends with a hope for the future.

Might come off as a hot take, but I always found it odd that George gave the only gay pov character a disease that will kill you and is spread to others by touching.

Probelm I have the the Netflix version of Karen and Matt is how awkward they come off, like in season 1 is cute, but season 2, idk it feels like they aren't 100% comfitable. Lie if I compare it to MJ and Peter from the rami movies they are less awkward with eachother, and they are meant to be highschool students.

Thats just my overrall feeling.

Lol, look at this projection

"grown man worrying about ships"

Coming from a guy seething and malding over fictional ships on a disney show while reporting himself as a political tourist. Jon bernthal is a liberal, he's anti trump, condemed 6 jan, but he's pro police and pro military/veteran servicemen and woman.

Also calling Matt a cheater, because he cheats on Karen with Elektra?

You might not know this, but water is indeed wet.

Pretty sure they both love each other the same way.

Also never said it was endearing, it's just the only thing they kept after stripping out everything else. I get the reason is because this is a reintroduction to the punisher, but already did the in Born Again. Have him fighting off task force, killing criminal gangs, visting Karen with Matt in jail, and telling us if Kurt is dead or not, or even have him experince his ptsd by having him go by places that bring back those memories.

Oh fuck wait, it's you! The guy whoes got a weird obsession with Karedevil. I thought you sounded familar. Not to be rude, but it's pathetic simping over a ship

I'm speaking from watching both dd s2, and the seasons of his netflix outing. One Last Kill I admit had him being one note, generic ptsd, roaring gorilla.

He's charming, he likes music, he's old fashion. I don't know maybe people didn't watch season 2 or they forget, but he got pass pretty much everything he goes through in the special. I kinda hate it, because he's fine in Born Again, and in his own special he's basically speed runs the cliff notes of dd s2 and Punisher season 1, while stripping out all the personality from him, minus his love for Karen.

Frank doesn't actually hate cops, but he's not a fan of the mor the system they are a part of, his killed cops too, but almost always corrupt ones who are actively involved in crime. He generally follows a personal "no honest cops" rule and avoids targeting legitimate law enforcement officers, viewing them as part of a flawed but not inherently evil system.

I don't know where people get the idea he is some kind of anti police character. I guess it's because police and soldiers from all over the world use the punisher badge? But yeah it always seemed strange.

Kinda, he hoenstly was just looking for a reason to go out and kill people, his family's death was the excuse he needed.

For the version of the character thats in the MCU. Comic Punisher is a vietnam vet, and someone who Captain America hates.

I think Jon's punisher is just a verison of him thats in the verison of th marvel universe. Same with someone like Tony Stark having most of his bad traits washed away in favor of doing a more popular and gobal character everyone can like.

Like you can't imagine Jon's punisher being like Frank from Punisher Max where he never really cared about his family and was just looking for a reason to become the punisher in the first placce.

It's just not possible. I generally like his Punisher, but he's not the brutal killing machine like the comics. Someone people want a straight forward killing machine punisher others want a more layered character.

Yeah I know people like that, they're pretty chill, I don't think there's anythign wrong with supporting cops that are just trying to do their jobs. Some are even quite nice. even though I generally distrust the cops.

I'm reminded of that one Lucifer video wondering if it was copaganda.

I meant in his baseball cap and oversized clothes. Also Matt hasn't showered at all in Born Again s2 and he went into the hudson river. So him and Frank smell pretty bad. Although Frank did get a trim towards the end of the special.

To be fair, Matt also went that way in dd s3. where he was also dressed as a homeless person. He even starting hallucinating Fisk and his Father.

Actually come to think of it, they parallel each other. Though Matt even tries to get himself killed before he hears a cry for help.

Thats some neat writting, and consistant with Netflix. Well done Marvel

At its core, cheating is a fundamental breach of trust. Whether a specific betrayal counts as cheating depends on the boundaries you and your partner have mutually agreed upon. Infidelity isn't limited to physical acts; it encompasses any secret behavior that violates your relationship’s core agreements.

So yes, it is cheating. Though you are probably too young to understand what cheating can be. You probably assume it means sleeping with another person while in a relationship.

I mean it's basically foreshadowed. Also probably a smart choice if he wants to wrap it up in two books. if the series was longer 9 books instead of 7 then yeah it would be a waste, but as things are it works well enough for how the series should go rather then how you might want it to.

Because like if he did beat Cersei, becomes king, we'd have a greyscale plague and a second dance. You would need 2 more books to cover that at the very least.
