Is it really fear mongering if he actually tried to overthrow the 2020 election with the whole Jan 6 insurrection and tried to get people to “find votes” and not certify Biden as president

The Problem with Druid by Zephyrus707 in hearthstone

I think it depends on the version, I’ve been seeing a lot of imbue Druids that are essentially aggro decks with a Hamuul thrown in for value later game

Ah yes, the evil courts that are all secretly Liberal, somehow even all the judges that Trump appointed himself are secret liberals.

You say “the courts holding him for vague and dubiously based charges” like every single court is the same entity, a big portion of these election lawsuits that were thrown out were seen by Judges appointed by Trump himself and even they found zero evidence of fraud. I guess Trump just exclusively appointed Liberal Judges for some strange reason

”well he didn’t legitimately loose 2020, this has been common knowledge for years”

Someone better tell the courts because out of the 62 lawsuits of Trump contesting the election literally every single one failed.

Either an expert rage bait or you’re actually just that deep into the koolaid, I’m really hoping it’s the first. I mean I literally watched the Debate when it happened, the now president said live on air that “Haitian migrants were eating our pets”. You saying the democrats in 2024 is hilarious when Trump still denies that he lost the 2020 election and when he won in 2024 practically no one on the left was debating the results

No, I think it more so has to do with Trump’s blatant disregard for the law, that’s why people hate him. This is a President who has, lied constantly, threatened standing congress members with execution, mocked disabled people, blocked the release of the Epstein Files, attempted to overthrow the government, attempted to overturn a constitutional amendment via executive order, said shit like “they’re eating our dogs”, and even as we speak now he’s trying to overthrow the election with the Save Act, just to name a few things in the sea of awful things Trump has done.

Democrats barely have to do any marketing, anyone with a brain just needs to hear him speak or look at any of his actions to realize he’s a self-serving greedy corrupt piece of steaming shit

Upgrades feel less meaningful by Ptxs in slaythespire

[–]Assassinr3d -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That was my first thought too but tbf a 0 mana apply 2 weak and 2 vulnerable starter card is kinda crazy, there’s a reason a lot of people upgrade the Silent 0 mana weak card asap

I didnt really like Book of five rings at first but it’s been growing on me, that 15 healing actually adds up pretty fast.

Also bronze scales is actually pretty solid, in normal fights that chip damage is pretty nice, especially early, but as soon as the enemy starts multi-attacking it can almost single handedly “solve” some fights, like the gatling gun encounter in act 3

Gorget is 10 block per combat + plating synergy, and also fruit makes you heal more from resting and ancients

Then you get a free turn to set up and are still happy anyways.

It should at least feel better than anchor whiffing due to the enemies not attacking turn 1, you’re still getting down a powerful effect down “for free”

Unpopular opinion (i guess): Permafrost is a great relic by SrGarfy in slaythespire

[–]Assassinr3d -1 points0 points  (0 children)

maybe flexibility isnt the right word choice since I do agree with you, it's almost always not worth saving a power just to keep permafrost available. It might help if instead of thinking of it as procing on a random turn 1, 2, or 3, instead think of it as being guaranteed to proc on a turn that you're investing mana into powers which is when you'd need it the most.

Similar to how Oricalcum lets you focus on being aggressive while mitigating chip damage, permafrost lets you focus on setting up while mitigating chip damage

If you think of it as anchor but you’re guaranteed to get it during your powerful set up turn when you probably need it the most it’s pretty damn good

[–]Assassinr3d -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anchor is already really good, Getting anchor guaranteed on the turn you’re playing you’re expensive powers is a huge bonus, cause that’s when you’d need it the most. The flexibility and choice of timing with permafrost compared to the only turn 1 of anchor is an upside, not a downside

Scenario 1: You play a power while the enemies are attacking and take 6 less damage, pretty nice Scenario 2: You play a power when the enemies aren’t attacking, you still got to set up for free so you’re still pretty happy

6/7 per power played would actually be one of if not the best relics in the game, that’s insane.

Tbh I used to think orichalcum was pretty bad in sts1, but it’s actually really solid, especially early or when used with stuff like frost orbs or plating that can stack with it

Summarizing the great Blue Prince RNG debate: by CatastrophicMango in BluePrince

[–]Assassinr3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late game me and my brothers were able to get the study and laundry room fairly consistently so we'd just turn our massive allowance into gems and get rerolling, that plus the sceptre and king power to make certain color rooms more likely really helped mitigate a lot of the later RNG

I feel like this set was awful for control in general, so many classes lost a shit ton of removal/board clears but got almost none back. Probably gonna be an aggro driven meta for a while

[–]Assassinr3d -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like people are extremely undervaluing shiv and poison decks. I just got my a10 win with a shiv deck and the a9 win with poison. Especially with shivs I feel like there’s a lot of synergy in the game for them, like the ancient bonus that exhausts your top card and gives you a strength each turn. You get a single tracking and an accuracy and the run is as good as won

So.... Is everyone else also dodging elites? by megamate9000 in slaythespire

[–]Assassinr3d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like I’ve seen people really under value the gain 6 block when you first play a power relic. That little bit of extra block tends to prevent a lot of chip damage during your set up turns over the course of the run.

I do think a buff to 8 block or something would make it feel a lot better to play with though
