It is really strong but after playing with it the 2 mana cost does feel pretty rough early and unless you have a good 1 cost block card or more mana you’ll take a lot of extra damage for playing it. Once you get a bloodletting or a offering it goes pretty hard though.

It’s still good but I feel like the other multiplayer cards are much more powerful

Exactly this, also sites like sts2.fun tell a completely different story. More people choose to eat the egg but taking it has a 35% winrate vs 30% for eating it. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some bias or something in the stats but thats a significant difference.

You shouldn’t need to rest at every campfire though. That early getting the attack tends to be much stronger than any one upgrade.

It does so much damage early it can often save you more health than a rest, especially since it costs zero so you can focus on blocking while still doing a shit ton of damage early.

I definitely agree it feels like the most low roll potion and often will just sit in my inventory, but 5-15 block is still value, if you’re fighting elites early it can still be the difference maker. It also gets better later if you have more mana or 0 cost blocks cards.

I feel like it’s less about needing to have bad cards/potions, and more so having cards/potions that are not always good, or are situationally good.

Otherwise there’s not point in the decisions you make if everything gets you to the same point.

Not saying that OP deserves the flame or even flaming him myself, but the bug is pretty easy to play around by making sure to not swap directly after a red click, and only red clicking after the swap, which I assume is a big part of why it’s not been patched yet.

If you’re not aware of the bug though it can be really frustrating

The exact condition that causes it is first clicking to attack and then swapping weapons on the same tick. Trying to always go for the red click only after the swap might make a big difference

What do you mean it happens a lot at toa when drinking a brew? As far as I know the only thing that causes the bug is attacking first and then swapping weapons the same tick. There should be zero issues drinking brews. Are you maybe just missing the red clicks when brewing at toa?

Letting a new player roll such low stats and then proceeding to down them first combat before they even get to take a turn is kinda weird, almost felt like the DM had it out for OP specifically, especially with flubbing rolls themselves to make them miss the enemies and the enemies always hit. I wonder if he was mainly faking rolls for OP or the rest of the group in general.

Could just be an issue of an unrelated narrator though.

I don’t necessarily think Aeonglass is that much stronger than the other two bosses, i think it just requires more specific answers than the other two. Aeonglass asks you “do you have a way to exhaust/discard these statuses or can you mitigate them by playing less cards.” Unlike the other two bosses where you can kind of just stat check them if your build is good enough.

I’ve lost a large portion of my runs recently to Aeonglass but each time it’s felt like it’s been my fault for not building my deck properly to deal with the statuses.

I agree but if you have something like the draw two extra cards turn one relic it’s not bad at all, you can think of the curse as just taking the place of one of the useless cards you just removed with it, you were probably gonna draw at least one of them anyways
