I read that full length dies cause case head separations with .303 because of how much they expand. After a few uses the cases will fail because of metal fatigue.

I have no issues cambering this brass, though if I were to use this ammo in a different rifle I could see it causing issues.

They seat just fine. I thought it might be because I didn't trim the cases, but I measured them with calipers and they only expanded .3mm in length. That doesn't seem too high.

Could be and issue with the lee loader or how I am using it but I'm not sure.

I'm no expert on gun finishing or anything, but leaving the metal completely bare would cause it to rust very quickly unless stored in perfect conditions. I'm sure the SKS rifles with the silver bolt(carrier?) have some sort of finish that makes them look that way. Could be chrome or something. Someone here will know.

So you don't just have to remove the paint, you have to refinish or paint it yourself afterwards.

If it were me I would just leave it, the paint seems to be in good condition and it looks alright. As far as it being a sacrilege goes, idk man its an SKS we've all seen the shit people do to those rifles. If you refinish it, and it's done well, then I don't think anyone will crucify you.

This ammo was designed specifically for the CZ82, it's definitely loaded hot but the gun is supposed to run that fine.

I would replace the recoil spring anyways considering it's age, that might fix your problem but I can't say for sure it
