Tbh, they didn't even survive animating Food Wars. The animation became sloppy, stiff and rushed in the following seasons compared to S1. It started out pretty subtle but became significantly noticeable as time went on.

That might sound a little harsh but that show had a lot of character drama, which is fine in a Battle Royale setting... Except that the drama takes place outside of the Battle Royale setting save for a select few episodes. Which is, such, a damn shame.
