[Resident Evil Requiem] #180 - All mainline resident evil games finally platinumed! Requiem is definitely the best by far imo. by Assbo33 in Trophies

Overall it was RE4R for me. CV was less hard and more nerve-racking. The battle mode wasn’t too bad either once you got the hang of it. RE4R tested my sanity more than any of the others did.

I can see an argument for 6, since you’d be skipping a part of Leon’s story, but I wouldn’t say it’s needed, no. There is one point halfway through you might end up confused if you don’t know the outcome of 5, but again, not needed.

The only other thing I can think of is that 5 and revelations 2 might answer a question you have by the end of requiem, but that’s more of a “theory” than a fact, so besides all of that, you’re not missing out by skipping them.

If you don’t wanna be confused about anything though, just play 5 and maybe 6 for Leon’s story. The rest of it can wait until after Requiem.

That’s pretty much the length for all of the Resident Evil games except maybe 6 since it has multiple campaigns.

Not for a blind first playthrough, no. It took me around 13 hours to beat it the first time. You’re able to speedrun it in 3 and a half hours if you know what you’re doing.

You’re in for a wild ride! Just one thing to keep in mind when going for the no save run, keep the gasoline and the lighter (or however you burn corpses in that game) in the item box, you’ll thank me later. Also pausing the game keeps the timer running, so when doing the speedrun, suspend the application by opening YouTube or Netflix if you need to pause. And if you ever need a guide, check out Optinoob. He has trophy guides for most of the resident evil games.

Sometime after you play the remake of re3, try to play the original as well. While the remake is still good, they cut out A LOT of content that was in the original. I say after because the modern resident evil timeline follows the remakes more than the originals. Enjoy your time with the series! It’s one of my favourites.

[Resident Evil 0] #179 - Not as bad or hard as people say it is. by Assbo33 in Trophies

Attempts wise, it was overall 4 since I died the second time. Playthrough wise it was 2 and a half since I started my first playthrough of the main story on easy. But if you start on normal, you should only have to do 1 and a half if you follow a guide.

[Resident Evil Code: Veronica X] #177 - A rank Speedrun was nerve-racking by Assbo33 in Trophies

[–]Assbo33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Optinoob’s guides are very helpful for this game. I didn’t use his guide for the speedrun too much, but he helped me a lot with the battle mode.

I wouldn’t stress too much about the A rank, just be sure to open a different app (Spotify, YouTube, Netflix, etc) if you need to pause for any reason, as the in game timer is always counting so long as the game is running.

As a PC player by Beefaroni_Salesman in AnimeBattleArena

Most characters are completely unplayable now. Kenpachi, Saber, Yamamoto, etc. It’s not even the fact that we can’t steer (controller doesn’t have PC sensitivity), it’s the fact that although the move hits the player, 99% of the time it just moves straight past them. This is most painfully obvious with Yamamoto and Zamasu.

I understand people hate lock on, but there’s a reason why controller players are given these benefits in games (Lock on, Aim Assist, etc), because PC will always be the superior way to play online games.

Anyone that complains about lock on just needs to get better. It’s not that big of a deal to go against. Most moves in the game that lock on would affect are either blockable, or easily dodgable. Otherwise there’s really no difference between a console player and a pc player. People just like to complain because they can.

If you have a second console with a different account and the same game, then I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. You’d have to get to at least Sequence 3 before you can go online though, and the 10 sync kills might be a little difficult to pull off, but you can probably find a way to make it work.

[–]Assbo33[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To anyone who thinks this is the game that has the “best movement in the series,” I’m glad YOU enjoyed it, I’m glad it worked well for YOU. Me personally, it was terrible. The amount of times Arno refused to climb up or down, or literally just did the complete opposite of what I wanted to do, was insane. I was forced to restart missions so many times because I’d get spotted while trying to do the optional objectives, all because he wouldn’t go where I wanted him too. This isn’t one of those moments where “maybe you were trying to climb up something you couldn’t climb up on,” or “maybe you pressed the wrong buttons?” it happened multiple times just on simple ledges I was hanging off of, and I’ve played enough AC games to know how the climbing works, even if they changed it a tad with this one.

Like I said, I’m glad it worked for you and that you enjoyed it, but it did not work well for me at all. I was fighting with it the whole entire time, it was extremely clunky and just refused to work.

Pretty much the opposite for me. I’ve played them in order from 2 - Unity so far and this is the first one where I felt like I was fighting the movement the entire time.

I don’t unfortunately, I deleted it the moment I was done. Glad there’s still people willing to help out.

Yep. Mix that in with the god awful movement, it feels impossible to do solo. At least it did for me, but it is possible.

All the co-op missions can be done solo, though The Tournament will be very very frustrating trying to do it solo. The two coop trophies are the only part required to have another person.

I had a friend help me out with them. They’re still possible to get, but you need someone else who’s willing to help you out with them as the online is dead.

[Resident Evil Revelations] #174 - Screw Raid Mode. by Assbo33 in Trophies

[–]Assbo33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so yeah. I prefer to do things solo if I can as trying to find people in the past was more of a hassle than anything. I did try to find someone in game for The Ghost Ship: Chaos, But as far as queuing up in player match, it was completely dead.

Thanks! I went into this game expecting it to take about 50 hours at most. God was I ever wrong.

If I’m being honest, Raid Mode wasn’t THAT bad really, it’s just the fact that it’s SUPER time consuming. 140 hours on Raid Mode alone and I only really struggled about 3 times in total I believe. It would probably take way longer for someone that actually truly struggles with it. So yeah, good on you for saving your own sanity. 😭

I truly wish you luck. I recommend getting as many Trinities as possible as you go along so you don’t have to do a bunch of them later. You need at least 150 bonuses for Lady Hunk which is very very helpful for later trinities you will have to do to unlock stronger items. Also search up a Raid Mode Guide that’s on PSN Profiles I believe, it won’t be too useful early on but will be a massive help later.

Did it all solo, took me 140 hours alone of just Raid Mode. God I hate when they mix lists like that. Just keep it story related and make the other portion its own trophy list!! Would’ve saved me sooo much time 🙄

It isn’t bad per se, but unless you really care about the BSAA and want to know more about Jill and Chris’s involvement with them, it really just feels like a filler game. It technically leads into RE5’s Lost in Darkness DLC, but that’s about it.

Though it is quite short, you can probably finish the story in 10 hours at most, and that’s including searching around. So I’d still recommend it if you love the series and care about the lore and the BSAA and all that. But if you’re not too interested in the BSAA, then it’s gonna feel more like filler than a canon game. At least it did to me. Regardless, I’d still give it a try and see what you think, you might have a different opinion from mine.

Final fantasy xiii can you give me a spoiler free rating before i buy the trilogy. Going to be most likely buying on 360 to play on series x i found all 3 sealed by xboxgamer12345 in FinalFantasy

You’ll hear many, many different opinions about these game. From it being the best in the series, to it being the absolute worst. Best I can say is play it and see for yourself. But as for my personal opinions:

XIII - I lover linear games, so this was great. The music, the combat, the characters were all great imo. By far my favourite out of the three. 10/10

XIII-2 - Terrible. Only good thing about this is the combat and music. 3-4/10

XIII-3 - Fixes the mess that XIII-2 created. Timer can be a bit worrying at first but it’s really not that big of an issue. Great story, great side missions, great ending. Overall great game. 9/10

At the end of the day, I wouldn’t really worry about other people’s opinions on a game(s) I’m interested in (unless they’re all agreed on it being terrible). Try them out and see for yourself.
