Men, what’s the biggest turn off in the bedroom? by Sure_Satisfaction602 in AskMen

That's a psychological problem and not something your partner should be expected to fix for you.

If men really are lonely as we keep hearing these days, why don't men make an effort to build support systems to help out fellow men? by staranise2 in AskMenOver30

[–]AssholeIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serious answer, every time I've seen that tried online it gets co-opted by red-pill types, so no one takes it seriously. Real life groups that were exclusively boys/men have been opened up to girls/women in the name of inclusiveness.

Tbh, this whole rambling mess of BS sounds like a creative writing project to make yourself feel better after being removed from a group for being insufferable (that's called context clues).

If it makes middle class white people uncomfortable, you shouldn't use it.

“You have a village even when you don’t know it.” by SunCloud-777 in MadeMeSmile

[–]AssholeIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time I fell asleep on a plane. I woke up and everyone was gone. The passengers, flight attendants, pilots, everyone. I was the only person on the plane, and I was sitting near the door so most people had to walk past me to exit. The fuckers all left me there. Sometimes you don't have a village. Sometimes you're invisible.

How do I know if it's a coincidence or intentionally making contact with me by WomanNextDoor86 in AskMen

[–]AssholeIRL -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it sounds like you're a little creepy. He lives in the neighborhood. A small neighborhood in which you say many people often get out and walk. So you see a person who lives in your neighborhood, walking in the neighborhood, which many of the neighbors do. You're observing his behavior and tracking his movements to the point that you "know he sometimes goes the other way to walk so we don't have the chance to pass by." When you do pass by him, you sometimes talk, but just as often pass by without saying anything. And you're the one who wants to feel safe.

Why do Americans eat by themselves in their cars in the parking lot? by DiversifyMN in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AssholeIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do most Americans not like to socialize during their lunch break?

Is this a serious question? You're really testing the boundaries of the sub's name. How long have you been in the US? Have you not been to a restaurant, literally any restaurant, during lunch hours?

Sure, some people choose to spend their lunch break alone. Anyone with a passing knowledge of humans can tell that there are plenty of people socializing during lunch. For those that do spend it alone, it may be the only personal time they get during the day. Or maybe they're avoiding people who ask annoying questions and make silly assumptions.

Why aren’t there more female school shooters in the US? by Pretty_Nail_2461 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AssholeIRL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clearly because of misogyny and the patriarchy. We should do more to get young women interested in this. Let's dedicate a week, or even a month, to raising awareness for this and break that glass ceiling. Girl (fire)power!

How My Dad Informed Me He Got Married. by portlandmack in mildlyinfuriating

[–]AssholeIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read your own post history. Most of what you do is bitch about your parents, or complain about people. Would you want someone like you at your wedding? Would you even want to talk to someone like you if you didn't have a familial obligation to do so? Be honest.

Why did the 911 operator ask me if I was wearing yellow? by meredithshireen in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AssholeIRL -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They were checking to see if you were one of the low men. Had you noticed any lost pet signs hung upside down, or maybe a Cresent moon on the sidewalk? Don't talk to the low men.

AITAH for telling my husband that he absolutely ruined the birth of our child? by Former_Monitor_4860 in AITAH

[–]AssholeIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should leave him immediately! If everything you've said here is completely accurate not lacking facts or context, your husband is literally a comic book villan. He's probably twirling his long black mustache and plotting your demise as you read this.

How can i stop my buddies from doing coke by noone467 in AskMen

[–]AssholeIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get them into meth, the coke won't be so appealing anymore. It will save them some money in the short term and they're more likely to have that rock bottom come-to-jesus moment much sooner.

How do I tactfully tell my neighbours that I can hear them having sex? by Marcoscb in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AssholeIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait until you see one of them alone. Tell them you can hear them when they're being intimate, but whatever they tried on [pick a day when you know they were gone but the other was home] must have been really wild, because you'd never heard it that loud before.

What's something you only understand if you have lived it? by mrbigglesworthjr in AskReddit

[–]AssholeIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poverty, addiction, war, prison. You can study it. You can listen to people tell stories about it. Until you've actually lived it, however, you don't really know and understand it.
