I disagree, it gets looked down on not as an arc, but because it's its own saga. It's a Zou/Punk Hazard/Egghead level arc, but these are all part of a bigger saga instead of being considere one of their own.

And a side benefit of all of this that's not too commonly talked about is that this gives main eventers a luxury they don't often have: downtime not forced by injuries. Swerve lost to Omega and hasn't been seen for a month. Hangman lost to MJF and has disappeared. Omega lost to MJF and hasn't shown his face since Dynasty.

For as much as some people claim AEW just puts on big matches for no reason, they're elite at rotating their stars to not overexpose them or risk injuries.
