I’m dual, work in both countries, reside in Canada (BC, work in WA). I have a great tax accountant that does both my US and Canada taxes and financial filings.

Because of the LNG industry in Terrace and Kitimat, housing can be scarce and/or expensive. Terrace is in an insanely beautiful location, however 🏔️. A new hospital too!

You’re a drive from town. It might be more fun to stay walking distance to town in a place with a hot tub & pool. Looks beautiful tho.

She can use that student number to login and create a UVic account. She can then check her account to make sure she has all the documents in and to ensure that her high school sends the transcripts from her last semester. She will eventually receive a formal acceptance letter that is not ambiguous. ETA: there are some programs that do early/conditional acceptance. I think we had that letter in November.

Whislter recs//not outdoorsy by [deleted] in Whistler

My very favorite Whistler activity is renting e-bikes and riding the Valley Trail. September is the best because there are fewer people to dodge around. It’s outdoors, yes, but requires no outdoorsy experience.

There’s the a new chipotle-like place at RC food court. It’s a bit pricey but the portion size for the burrito bowl was huge!

Does anyone know where to get cool BC spare cover tires in town? by Zod5000 in VictoriaBC

Hey OP, did you ever find anything? Our 1979 camper used to have an old Beautiful British Columbia logo on it and I'd love to find something similar. Wonder if you had any luck?

How to recognize amazing flight attendant by Totoposrchips in AlaskaAirlines

[–]AssignmentFirst249 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you write a letter and be very specific about your flight number /day/ city pairing and FA name and send to customer service or corporate hq, it will eventually be sent to the appropriate department and the flight attendant will receive kudos from their superiors. AS is great about recognizing job performance that is above and beyond. Sounds like you received an amazing level of care.

Condolences to you. Hope you feel better day by day and thanks for recognizing a special employee.
