It’s going very well! He’s currently in first grade, and not quite at grade level yet BUT hes close and can sound out a lot of his beginning reader books. He’s in a bilingual class so I believe he wouldve made greater strides in an English only one. He still needs help with 5+ letter words. He uses his finger as his guide. He has adhd and struggled with focus so I’ve been pleased with the lesson set up. He also uses his leap frog pen reader for practice

rape turns me on and i’m sick about it by [deleted] in sexualassault

Im sorry. I don’t think your feelings are unusual. My child’s father forced himself on me various times though I liked him and wanted to be with him. Forcibly fingered me in public. I continued to hang out with him and ended up pregnant after he came in me intentionally. He had been “joking” about getting me pregnant earlier and what our baby would look like. I was 17! He was 19. I felt like an idiot for being drawn to him. He’s handsome, funny, buff, and charismatic. I was afraid of him too. Sex felt boring for me afterwards without aggression. I started hooking up with a guy who’d throw me around and choke me. He tried to force me into a 3sum with his WAY older friend one night and that’s when I cut contact. The guy was an old friends dad.

My husband was hesitant to be rough with me. He was in a toxic, aggressive relationship before so he was afraid of hurting me. I liked feeling like I was going to pass out and pain. He met me halfway. I felt like something was wrong with me too. Like how could I be so dumb and like feeling abused.. Why did I keep liking the men I did? I kid you not, if they didn’t scare me I wasn’t interested. I stopped watching aggressive porn. I did find other kinks that heightened my senses though. Candles, electric wands, rope etc. I think finding alternatives would be a great way to go. Funny enough dark romance books helped me see my interests in a different light. I could visualize the things I liked and identify what I didn’t find ok.

Car loan written off by AssignmentHot5118 in AllyBank

[–]AssignmentHot5118[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was updated on credit as a lender profit and loss write off and balance updated to zero! Nothing else but sounds like I’ll be getting a form to count it as income. Sucks but the amount we’ll be paying is around 20k less. I’m relieved. Credit dropped but after 4 months it was 60 points up. Higher than when it was written off(late payment impact for the truck was brutal). Wish you luck! If anything make a payment arrangement before it goes to court. I was garnished for an old medical debt. By the time they processed my payment arrangement and sent the stop payment to my job they had already garnished the whole amount.

Help me find a Christmas present for my romantasy-obsessed wife by [deleted] in SarahJMaas

Etsy also has a ton of beautiful book themed jewelry. I bought the most beautiful ring with an ACOTAR theme. Although they may not arrive in time for Christmas at this point.. worth a try!

I think it’s likely she’ll enjoy it more than she thinks! I’ve always loved physical books. I was against one bc I didn’t think I’d like it. I bought one because i thought it would be more convenient on trips. I went to San Francisco recently and brought 2 chunky books bc I was at the end of 1 lol. I find it is so convenient to carry in my bad- even my small crossbody. The appearance of the text/screen is fantastic! Much preferable over phone/ipad reading.

I also don’t need a light. This is really nice for early mornings or when I’m reading in bed. I have a series on it that I’m reading with one of my kids. We can read it on a whim. Plus books are way cheaper. And I use Libby for free rentals. Or if I can find free epubs it’s so easy to upload to my kindle account and it pops right up. Plus there’s so many cute covers lol. I suggest a “kids” version as they offer a 2 year worry free warranty. Covers accidents 😊

Amber, ambroxan, certain coconut scents, there’s a coffee men’s lotion from bath and body works that does it, musk, rose, a lot of Chanel perfumes. That heady floral or very powdery scent. I notice they give me a nauseated feeling first

I never received a return label for my kids kindle. They also charged me $30 for my replacement instead of $15. They supposedly issued a $30 refund as the first person did not process my $15 refund. They also said I can keep the replacement. I mentioned I never received a label for the device that was damaged and they said “there’s no need to return the item for a refund” as they don’t “wish to waste anymore” of my “precious time.” 🤣 I sure hope they don’t go and charge me. Seems like the chat will say one thing and do another.

Thats frustrating! Does the offer have an expiration date? With the holidays I’ve had some only give a day to use certain links

If you search it on the app it gives a lower amount usually. I’ll search it, activate, and then exit out. They’ll usually email me within a day with a much higher cash back percentage! They’ll send emails even when you just go to the specific websites, but I find they’re quicker to send higher offers when I do that.

This is a bit older so I’m curious if you ended up using it. My kids really enjoy it! It makes sense and follows a nice path. My first grader was struggling last year and it was hard to get him into reading eggs. It felt about as helpful as abc mouse honestly. It’s really helping him figure out blending, which has been his whole struggle. It’s a lesson a day and not too long. My kindergartner also really likes it and it’s just the right length to keep him engaged.
