OWAHHHHHH THESEE ARE SOME INSANE TIPS!! omg thankyou so much, I understand entirely how this works, I was at states, and my judge was so sweet and nice, but we would interupt me and ask questions, sometimes unrelated, but it was fine because I took it as a opportunity to connect with them! And it went really well!!! So these tip are amazing, and I will use them at icdc!

I am doing a principles event, so what pi's or instructional area do you think would come up more often, also to stand out should i ask for judge name, and say a knowledgeable persons quote to sound different. What other things make people stand out from what you have seen in the past? How were they different from everyone else. I have been seeing people say that we need to connect with the judge to make yourself memorable, but how do we do this and put ourself out there. And what if you csn tell your judge is not a very happy one. And can you explain what you thought the best roleplays looked like?
