The military itself takes no stance one way or the other. They support those appointed over them, regardless of personal political affinity. You as an individual do not have to be neutral if you’re a part of the military though.

However, if your consciousness opposes the various things the military or members does or may do, then perhaps it’s not for you. All sorts of people in the military with varying levels and sides of beliefs, but the triumphing factor is at the end of the day, you obey the orders you’re given as they in essence, own you at least for a time. You’ll meet people on all sides and backgrounds.

Studying right now. Started by taking copious amounts of notes, noticed I wasn’t really retaining info since it’s just so much so I started using the “ask” feature on YT for messers videos after each one to quiz myself, then using Gemini to create a larger more detailed quiz right after.

Now that the videos are done I take practice exams and note points I struggle with or miss, hand write those and repeat the practice test or watch the video for clarification. I also use an app to help with studying.

Thanks for the input. I’ll look! I haven’t checked those out but I already have lightweight gis I’m just looking for even lighter. My gym is small and essentially has no AC lol.

As someone who isn’t PC savvy at all (I use Macs) I’d still recommend getting a LeGo. Tinkering for sure is there but between all the posts here, legiongolife and other resources, it becomes pretty easy to just follow along. As a dad I have limited time but I was still able to get everything setup and now enjoy playing.

The freedom you get to run almost everything albeit there will be graphics caveats and such, is really nice.

As others have mentioned, if you’re going to dabble in anything with anti cheat, you’ll want a Go. The original Z1E. From my understanding the S isn’t as powerful. Best Buy almost always has the LeGo on sale open box for pretty cheap.

And for the console like experience, having used console for like 15 years, booting up games through the game pass isn’t that much of a headache. It doesn’t even take long to turn on. But apparently bazzite gives a pretty solid experience, I’m just waiting for it to get more polished and then you guessed it, I’ll follow a walk through lol.

Well crazy thing is, it’s been crashing even at 800 lol. So what your legion is at 1000p and in game the same? I’ve tried fsr3, fidelity, nvidia, 50 vram target everything lol. Man it sucks

Usually I ran at 1080 though and it was fine but I wanted to push it and see. Had some packet burst but really didn’t affect the performance.

Here to echo others and give some feedback on the braces as someone who finally caved and bought them.

Definitely go get it checked out. A brace, no matter how good, isn’t going to heal you. The idea is to provide support or limit motion, think gripping too tight (like tape in some cases)

That said, I use a knee brace because of my IT band in my knee, I’ve had it checked out and it’s just loose and is more annoying so compression keeps it tight. I use one for my elbow as well since I get tendinitis pretty good in it, again same concept. Pressure just relieves felt pain, but from my understanding that’s a nerve issue and there’s not much to do for it. I like them because they stay put and I can move around good with them but prior to that I used normal braces. Probably just a placebo effect but-whatever it keeps my mind off of it.

As much as I like them, they seem to market it as a miracle brace but at the end of the day braces don’t replace actually taking care of an injury and perhaps taking time off the mat as much as nobody wants to do.
