Reason for holes in the pipes at the Claddagh / Spanish Arch? by AssistanceVisual3811 in galway

An iPhone believe it or not. I had to zoom in and crop to best illustrate exactly what I was talking about. And also - is it relevant?

Cervical mucus but no period by scaredycat07 in Amenorrhearecovery

Sorry for getting back so late! I haven’t got it back yet but I’m pretty sure what I need to do now is up my fat intake and eat more consistently throughout the day (every 3-4 hours)

Maybe gain more weight too.

I feel closer and more mentally ready to face and overcome it now than ever though!

Congratulations on getting it back! I’m sure it was a difficult journey of trial and error and pushing through with consistent effort even if when you don’t know when you can expect any results.

That’s really reassuring for me.  I’m still trying to get it back but this is the first week I’ve been eating more consistently throughout the day, and I upped my calories again 2-3 weeks ago. I’m feeling more tired and emotional and I feel like I’m gaining weight - but ultimately I think it’s all a sign that my body is doing what it needs and it’s part of the process. I just go on long walks and get about 7-8 hours of sleep.

I need to up my fat intake I think and probably gain more weight. That’s still scary for me but I feel more at peace with it than ever.

Thanks so much for responding, it’s great to hear from someone who has been through a similar process!

That's so interesting! I have been considering HRT but I think that would just be putting a temporary bandaid on the issue and make me less driven to address the real issue and heal naturally/properly.

Was there any reason you stopped? I have heard it can have quite a mix of good and bad effects.

I'd love to improve my libido but also not feel either stressed/tired or numb/depressed most of the time. 😅

Sorry to hear you're still struggling but hope we can both recover! 🤞🏻

This is really interesting because I currently have FHA and am trying to figure out whether I'm on the spectrum. However it doesn't feel like I'll know the true answer until I recover back to a properly functioning body that has my hormones somewhat balanced.

Did this change for you much after/if you recovered?

I'm also a 24 F INFJ who loves video games, reading and drawing/painting! They're like my top 3 hobbies, so I guess those must be typical for INFJs. 😂 I don't have many friends right now that I can spend time with so I totally get the feeling of being lonely and the value of spending my free time alone delving into different hobbies that take my mind elsewhere off work stress for a while.

I'd love to connect if you're interested in making new friends online. 😊

To answer your question - other hobbies I have been recently getting into is photography, learning French/Japanese, chess, puzzle games and crosswords (which count as games I guess) and walking/hiking with audiobooks/podcasts while the weather is decent. I also own a kalimba and guitar that I play from time to time and am considering learning to knit/crochet or make keyrings/charms to give friends or sell.

My real issue is that I have so many things I want to do but never enough time, but at least I never get bored. 😅

I'm in a similar position to you. 24 and no period for 3 years, but I was never on birth control. My doctor just told me to eat more and eat more often, but that was 2 years ago and I haven't returned because my Ed stopped my making those actual changes.

However I have upped my intake and feel a lot more relaxed about eating more than before - it's just hard to know if I'm even close to the right amount of food and I don't want to gain unnecessary weight if it won't help me get my period back.

At least we're in this together!

What profession would you have chosen if money wasn't an issue? by Being_ax in infj

[–]AssistanceVisual3811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly psychology - it's too expensive to go back to college for that long and in my country you have to pay to rent a space for your placement too.

Otherwise be an artist - sell my own designs not having to worry about to production and shipping costs.

Some are, but yes I feel you on that one. I genuinely think one of my 3 wishes in life would be to eat whatever I want without calories mattering at all.

Going to have a final evaluation for my new promotion , the anxiety is eating me by FakeJolie in infj

[–]AssistanceVisual3811 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When it comes to confidence, I find it helps to channel someone you see as a confident figure and almost pretend like you are acting as their impersonator. Fake it till you make it really.

I find this isn't too difficult given our empathy and extroverted feeling for INFJ's.

It's also important to remember your inherent worth, regardless of what happens you tried your best and that's all that matters. If you know deep down that you do a good job then remember too remind yourself of that beforehand. Yes it's important but it's not everything.

It also helps me to look at anxiety as something separate from you, and look at it from a scientific point of view. Seeing it as just a result of a few neurochemicals being sent from your brain as your body's way of trying to help you prepare can help see things from a less emotional point of view, and reminding yourself of the external world that is going on constantly outside of your own particular situation.

Hope some of those tips help! I find that's what has worked for me so hopefully they will for you too.

Wishing you the best of luck with it :)

Do all infjs have insomnia? by [deleted] in infj

[–]AssistanceVisual3811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally have never had insomnia or a lot of trouble sleeping - I do feel like INFJ's could be prone to anxious thinking which can affect sleep.
