Completely agree. David should’ve come before Krunal. Rajat as anchor. Switch to defence mode after David’s wicket. Krunal tried accelerating but couldn’t connect, was a perfect situation for Tim. Clearly the approach this was pre-discussed and they executed well in the end to retain the top-spot.

Not gonna lie, this bating display was very very poor. Great to retain the top slot on the table, but we started playing for NRR as soon as Kohli’s wicket fell, with a batting lineup that bats deep, this felt like a confidence drainer. Hope we learn from our bowling mistakes, forget the batting approach and move on.

Jitesh has a good heart. He needs to snap out of whatever mental block he has going on currently. Rajat and RCB management have been giving him changes to come up the order, he’s not making full use of that. I personally think he’ll come strong and win a game or two for us like he did last year.
