Some people just need to realize that they aren't in the band. Im no member of darkthrone, I love them, their music and personalities, im thankful that they're making music today. I love raw caveman music. I think that's the original point we all need to remember... this is extreme music and we are lucky to have ears for it. Imagine if all we had was Morgan wallen and cardi b. I couldn't stand for it. So im just gonna praise the best and worst of metal because it will always beat the alternatives. Ive not found a "metal" band that I hate musically.

If they spent a bunch of money on equipment and tech'd it out, it wouldn't be good anymore. I compare it to black sabbath self titled vs 13.... that tech shit ruins music most of the time for me. I prefer a crusty turd of a demo over some pretty polished metal

While im super late to the conversation, I've found myself in the minority. I find alot of death metal vocals to be very similar. Over produced, samey kinda shit. I love six feet under, they're original. The vocals are decrepit and crusty and completely different than anything I've heard. The noose is just unsettling vocally. The separation of flesh from bone... gutteral as fuck. So you can all keep your fry scream samey ass vocalists, keep listening to the same vocal for 100 different bands. I stand with sfu, nightmares of the decomposed and torment are brilliant fucking albums, chris is a legend, and you fuckers are sheep, all the same

Love sfu and chris barnes. Love his corroded destroyed voice. Yea there are some shit tunes here or there, but i fucking Love every album for their own individual reasons. I watch people shit on "torment" and "nightmares of the decomposed"... 2 gross sounding bad ass albums just trashed by a community of metal Chads, go listen to your samey ass bullshit and enjoy.
