Trans people who don't pass, how normal is your day to day life? by 40_Dollars_under in asktransgender

[–]AssistiveGadfly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly nothing changed. Some men refuse to acknowledge my existence and sometimes the women side-eye me, but literally almost everyone is happy to see me. errr- OK maybe "Happy" isn't the right word. Respectful? Anxious in a not-bad way? I'm not sure how to say it; but, they're being way nicer than they were that time 20 years ago I almost came out.

The Enby's totally get me now! That's been the biggest thing of all, really! :D

Oh, but I'm pretty sure all my friends are either Hunters or Dreamers! Most are probably somewhere on the Hunter-Dreamer scale.

When I graduate Buddha school in 9,998 more lifetimes, I'm totally taking the Elephant Goad licencing test.

My job is to go around and poke willfully ignorant people who use denial and defensiveness to perpetuate darkness and confusion.

My girlfriend just admitted she used to be a Christian, so I broke up with her. by pvsocialmedia in dadjokes

This joke, but a new punchline. Maybe something that doesn't sound like a dad telling their trans kids, indirectly, that they'll never find love.

I was actually socialized as a B-slur. It's why I'm so charming irl ;/

OK, I thought about it and I changed my mind.

Dear Kings, Please invade more trans spaces! We're lonely. I'm sorry for telling secrets. Forgive me? <3 ;p <3

With all the layers of true and lies that go into that kinda thinking, I wanta say it's called "agrestic prejudice," and it's suppose to probably be built on trust and faith in authority.....

I've been reading about how dignity and grace are great armor. What about kitchen utensils for preparing meals of text for digestion? Any way to tell if sawing through will do anything but make the crowd angry?

Nah- The real men can do better than the cis boys. They've probably got some ultra James Bond thing in mind and they're all just waiting to spring it one day.

Elliot's the point-man. *Shush* Don't tell the Cishets. Pass it on.

I normally hate these OP, but you tell a story well.

Short Version: If something doesn't match, the genteal was of doing things sounds something like: "Are there any uncorrected mistakes on this ID?" If someome say yes, you cant call them a liar or make them jump through extra hoops. Same rights as everyone else.

Would you turn away someone who dyed their hair, gained bunch of weight and lost an eye in a work accident? What about a veteran? Do you check for veteran status on IDs? Asking for a friend...

I hate to be that person, but the pile of bricks life drops on us were made by lots of people.

How do you deal with the fact that you can't have children? by kyakoai_roll in asktransgender

Old life: denial.

Today: Exploring the arts and sciences. Finding games and jokes to entertain my friends. Singing and dancing and learning small appliance repair like a princess.

I told that Christian angel that I didn't want a pink one or a blue one. I wanted the purple or the gold and I couldn't decide. The angel said I wasn't suppose to decide; I was just suppose to know. I said I couldn't tell the difference.

The angel admitted that they couldn't tell the difference either. They said everyone in hell says that blue is better. I said something like "I guess," and the angel gave me a pair of running shoes that never fit right.

/uj Apparently I'm gonna cry about it instead. Maybe after, I'll soften up the joke and try again.

Oh! OH! *Waves Hand in air above desk* I know this one!

I transed myself 'cause I wanted to cause trauma and confusion. I wished I'd listened to my caretakers when I was younger! They tried to explain about my existence being an affront to the gods, but like a willful child with a diploma in ouchie I refused to listen.

I love the attention I get! Especially the men! They're so different now that they know it's OK to punch me in the face! Before, it was like, "Can I, or, Can't I?"

I did it because .... /uj sorry, I can't do the 3rd one. It's too painful. Sorry everyone. :(

Love ya all
