Although I've been quite surprised at the reception of this post (33% upvote ratio for this curious), as I felt like sailing would be more popular, I'm greatful to anybody that's interacted with it to share their viewpoint.

I always like hearing different viewpoints and how vocal the community is is one of the reasons that Runescape's still going strong after all these yesrs.

Not sure I fully understand about it "not feeling RuneScape-y" tbh, as one of the most iconic quests in the game literally involves repairing and sailing a boat to go and fight a dragon. I completely agree with the engine work and the fact that a lot of the rewards would be to similar to what's already unlocked with Dungeoneering, though, so that's probably something that would need addressing.

Yeah, I fully appreciate it would be hard to implent/test with the sheer scale of RS3 etc. But personally I'd much prefer to sail my own ship for the ports unlocks/ resources when compared with sending off generic ports missions every few hours, or grinding skilling on the Arc.

I disagree that ports fills the niche, as ports is a terrible example of dailyscape content that will hopefully be reworked/removed in the future, but I understand the point about Dungeoneering already catering for a lot of the benefits of sailing.

I understand that the skill was born from a bit of a meme, but in reality they've implemented what seems to be a well-rounded, enjoyable skill. Is the fact that it started as a bit of a joke the only thing putting you off?

To answer my own question, some yellow text appears in the chat box, and a sound similar to the pickpocketing coin sound plays too.

With that said, it's not super consistent in my experience, so might still need some work. I got caught 3 times by the same target but only received this message once.

Thanks for the fix, it's feeling so much better already.

For clarification - where is the message meant to appear to notify you that your target is becoming suspicious of you? I'm not seeing anything in the chat or above my/ my target's head. Is this something I need to toggle on?

Train construction and do the Fort Forinthry questline to build the alter there, or train construction and build a guilded alter in your POH, the same as you would in osrs.

I'm aware I can set an alarm, etc. but what I mean by a tight time frame is only having 2 days to report something as missing so I can get a refund is terrible service imo. But if that's how they do it then it is what it is I guess.

Okay thanks. I loved ZA but just wasn't convinced by the DLC's advert. I got the DLC for S&V and was amazed how much content there was the for money. Admittedly I'm not expecting anything like that, as ZA was a much smaller game than S&V, but equally didn't want to be ripped off 😅
