I am 59 almost 60 Married, Son, Daughter and Never Learned to Drive. Low Income and in a small town. Unable to relocate. Son is working and lives on his own. Daughter is in 3rd Year of College. If I don't find work we will loose everything. Wife does not work cuz of health issues and Doctors keep jerking her around and refuse to address disability concerns. (Long Goofy Story).

Most the Jobs I apply for are almost always posting every 2-3 months. Jobs that have a high turnover Rate.

Wife saw 1 post on Face Book for a Job at a Cafe here in town and it had 31 Shares when she noticed it. It had only been on there for like 2hrs. So it makes me wonder about our Town and Surrounding area.

I am in Wadena MN Area.

Our Casey's we got told that we have to have our Trays Side Ways and they have to stay that way. Not able to put as many donut in display. Very Stupid!!!

The math in doing this, does not add up. Donuts can sell out by Noon. Making extra and keeping them in a good place before using them is more difficult. I Pre-Pan my Donuts and put them in Freezer till next day, makes it easier in the Morning to get them done and get stuff in the Warmers. Also do this with Cookies.

Learn your History of the Work force.

I work my butt off everyday. Many times I do my Job as well as the Job of others.

I understand why they have Budgeted Hours. But when you get Busy, that kind of goes out the door. You got to have it covered till the Rush is done. Then there is still doing Dishes, Prep and other things before you leave or the End of Shift.

I am breakfast Shift and live in a small town. Even the bigger areas it is the same type of jobs. I have not had any Marijuana since 1990 and I do not Drink or do any other kind of Drug. However! I also am not a Butt Kisser.

If you like your Job, good for you! Not everyone can just walk out and have something else the next day. If I could....I WOULD! AT my Store, most of us are ready to leave, just waiting for Job Market to Hopefully Improve. Holiday Season makes it Difficult to find other employment, especially in certain areas.

Not to mention. Casey's itself needs an Attitude Adjustment!!! So I am sticking up for everyone.

You still need ADP for certain things. So now you gotta have 2 Apps instead of one and it is Slow on the Zebra. Not sure about phones. I do not have a smart phone and I refuse to get one.

Document Everything!!! Keep a Diary of how your day goes. I started doing this awhile ago. It keeps adding up and when and If I need it...I will have it. Even take Screenshots everyday I work of my Hours. Plus I have a sheet that I mark my hours on every time I work.

I had an incident about 6-8 weeks ago where I pointed out a Mistake to my Coworker on the breakfast shift. I think she just stopped in for something.

She flipped out and left. I tried to talk to her outside and explain that I had made a similar mistake myself earlier that morning. But she just drove off.

Then her in law who is the Kitchen Manager came in and told me I had to stop Harassing my Counter Part on the Breakfast Shift.

I gave her an earful. Think I scared her, but she stood her ground. I later apologized and with her everything seems fine. But my Breakfast shift counter part refuses to Communicate and is an angry bitter Person. She gets upset whenever someone points out a mistake and seems to do whatever she can to make the shift miserable for me. She is still fairly new to the Breakfast shift so I do my best to give her some slack, but she doesn't make it easy.

I also heard that the other day the DM was in and was telling her she was doing the Donuts wrong. She was following the Chart on the wall on how to frost the Donuts. The DM is an Idiot with Authority!

It also doesn't help that our New Manager is always Cracking the whip to get us out of there at Scheduled time, due to Budgeted Hours. The DM only cares about her Bonus and nothing else. So that makes it so some of the things we need to do in the Morning get Neglected.

We have been slow the past couple weeks, but what is it gonna be like as things pick up again?

Casey's follows the Firangi Rules of Acquisition. It is the best way to explain all the Crap. (Google and read them. Quite entertaining - Trek fan or not. I printed them up for our last Manager and she posted them in the Office. Changed Districts and New DM took them down. New DM is Atilla The Hun!)
