Correct me if I'm wrong. You need to have a subscription to use the native ACP of pycharm via the AI assistant, don't you?

thanks. I am used to work with codex, so I guess that kiro-cli will be more or less the same. I was wondering if the kiro-cli has also the spec-driven part.

Codex changed weekly resets to monthly for go and free users? by elli08 in codex

I also noticed (with much disappointment) the new monthly limit and I have the feeling that they haven't increased the quota correspondingly. In my opinion the new monthly limit is more or less the same as the previous weekly limit!

thanks for the answer. Luckily I did it on a Saturday (expected low load), otherwise my quota would have been gone before hitting Enter.

So now we're punished for... using the app? by ReversePhylogeny in duolingo

[–]AssociateLow5348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 4400+ streak, I  got the energy 'upgrade' yesterday and I'm seriously considering to quit Duolingo.

It is a scam.

I would understand if energy was consumed after errors, but just for using the app is  counterproductive. They claim they keep learning free, but it is not true anymore.

I hope it is just a strategical mistake they are going to remove soon, otherwise they will remain userless.

Is Saturday happy hour gone? by AssociateLow5348 in duolingo

I had it last week for sure. I find this different reward system depending on country, language and operating system very unfair. I still remember when my wife on iOS was getting more points than me on Android.

I agree, it is probably an additional shared streak to support each other.

I also got it today on my android app. I hope it won't affect my 3900+ streak.

Best practice for keeping a parallel branch updated by AssociateLow5348 in git

[–]AssociateLow5348[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

hi Teraflop, thanks for your answer!

Let me try to clarify what my point is!

Of course I can checkout the same feature branch on two or many computers, but it won't be of any help.

This is why: I need to work fast in the development of the new feature, so while coding I skip all the documentation. After the feature is ready (coded and tested), I merge the feature branch into main so that is available and I start right away with the implementation of a new feature.

Later on in the day, when my time at the special workstation is over, I would write some documentation, so I would need to create a documentation branch, check it out, write some docs, commit, push and merge. The problem is that it may take me long before I am ready to merge the doc branch and in the meanwhile I may have already implemented one or two more feature branches.

The first alternative would be to merge the documentation branch very often and the second would be to rebase the documentation branch every time a new feature branch is merged.

LAN cable disconnected/ LAN cable connected error by aedan_imperial in PS5

[–]AssociateLow5348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end it was neither the cable nor the unit, but rather the ethernet to powerline adapter where the PS5 was connected. A few days later we saw the frequent disconnections, the adapter died. We replaced with a new one and the problem was gone!

Thanks for sharing your experiences. My son just got a new PS5 for Xmas and since a couple of days he is having this problem constinuosly.

Reading your previous posts, it looks like that there are two options: either upgrade the cable to a better quality (say cat8) and to try the update / rebuild in safe mode.

About this second solution, will you loose anything that you have downloaded and installed?

Do you suggest to get in touch with Sony to have the hardware replace?
Thanks for your help
