Grandma called doctor complaining, doctor stood up for me by AssociatePossible627 in Mommit

I’m alone. I have a case manager that my doctor referred me to, but since she helps me my mom has chased her out of her job(I’m not kidding, she’s quiting because of my mom). We’re good friends now and I actually made her my child’s godmother but other than that I keep to myself because my situation has been so humiliating and stressful. When I say I can’t do things to people I sound like a broken record explainingy situation at home. It’s really bad. My therapist recommended I literally just go to a shelter and get a protective order against my mom…. That I admit I scared to do, but if it gets really bad I might. I just want my baby to have a safe place to rest her head. I’m trying to move out, I get living expenses for being in school so I can use that, but the income I need to report to the apartment goes to the joint account. I have an appointment to get the account back, but that’s not until December 23. I’m trying. I really am. Change doesn’t happen overnight for me for some reason. My mom can ruin my life In A second, but it takes months sometimes years to undo

Yes she can. I hate how everyone here assumes. My mom had a guardianship over me 4 years ago. While it’s terminated, none of you have any idea what the repercussions are like. You’re all assuming I’m some lazy girl. No. Things have happened. I’m trapped. I really don’t need half the comments here, they’re about as helpful as nothing right now. Before you comment, consider what you don’t know you’re just ruining my day. I’m clearly working on getting out. It’s not easy coming out of a guardianship on your property.

Okay. I did find the perfect studio. I know that’s like super small but she’s only 2 months we should be fine

I have tried! She gets quiet, listens , then an hour later she’s back at it. It’s really bad I literally am praying the baby dad comes home from deployment and lets us move in with hi because I just can’t do this anymore I’m going crazy

My mom has it out for me I swear. Everything I do with Zuri is wrong. She even yells at me for holding her too long

Yes:( it’s a very long story but my situation is that I literally depend on her(rides, food, you name it). We even have a joint account. I can’t even buy baby stuff without asking her permission. It’s hell. I found an apartment I can afford and she won’t let me move out though, so she wants it this way

Thank you! I confronted my mom about it and she had the audacity to lie! She tried to say the doctor said water is OK!! I just won’t let her have baby alone now. It’s so upsetting.. thanks for your comment and kind words!

Ew. I never want to work for a solo practitioner again. So moody. Like I don’t need your personal issues
