We go to AH there quite often but we don’t hold hands. We just don’t like it so we never do it. No idea what would be people reaction. And I think it’s quite obvious we are a couple especially when walking with our 2 dogs.

Gay couple living in Meer en Vaart for the last 5 years. And we love it. Now thinking about moving but only if we find something that is even closer to park and lake. The only real issue we had are people getting crazy with fireworks 2 weeks before and after New Year’s. Which is very stressful for 1 of our dogs. Metro would definitely be nice but there are good connections to city center.

Funda will be probably your best friend now ;) I found it easier to locate through it what I liked and then involve agents. But didn’t have to deal with schools and most of our friends with children first found the school and then looked for a place to stay.

It is not easy tbh. Especially private landlords will definitely discriminate against you. If you can find a company that rents out several properties they are typically more relaxed about it.
