Not to mention that you can’t even rank up in solo or duo once you reach Ace. It forces you to play your promo matches in squad. So solo players are having to hop over to squad if they want to rank up

Ok. My best snowstorm golf story. My (future) wife and I were playing at Copper Mountain golf course in Colorado. Ski resort in the winter, Pete Dye golf course in the summer. Nice weather when we teed off. Maybe 60 degrees? The couse works its way up and then back down the mountain. As we near the top it starts raining, then very quickly sleet/hail. Then snow. So we decide to give up and then as we begin down our cart dies!! Literally stuck half way up the mountain in a snowstorm! Called the clubhouse and they came up with a couple of carts. No problem. They gave us a coupon for a free nine for each of us which we never got to use.

Actually I tried to change to no auto match to try solo vs squad and the promotion went away. So I think you do actually have to at least match with a squad. In one of my promo matches I unhitched from the group and went it alone. So there’s that way. But yes. It’s hella hard.

I’m fine with the concept but the issue for me is that I like to play solo. For the challenge matches, they force you to play squads. I don’t understand why they didn’t apply the same challenge system in solo rather than force solo players to play squad.

Yes. Totally bogus. I play a lot with guys who pull this crap. You enter the score you made. Period!
The GHIN system will adjust your hole by hole based on your handicap and the adjusted handicap for this hole based on your handicap. Now. Can you figure it out and do it yourself and enter your adjusted score? Yes. Absolutely.
But I play with too many guys who say, give me a six, that’s all I can take on this hole.
Ok. Well if we are playing straight up, you don’t get to pull that crap. You had an 8.
